Faith Test

After committing my need to God, if I can come away with no sadness, pain or anxiety in my heart, I have prayed the prayer of faith. If I pray and then still carry my burden, I know that my faith was not in practice. ~slight paraphrase from Streams in the Desert

  4. Thanks Vee, your quote from Streams in the Desert was just for me today. My prayers must have been ones of faith as I am not sad or anxious about the situation. I am resting in peace. Thanks for the heart lift! Have restful Sunday!

  7. Wish that I knew your name, Couture de Papier as it seems so impersonal to call you by your blog name (your blog is a very beautiful one, by the way). I've been circling around your comment for a while now wondering how best to respond. I'm not even sure that you asked a question, but this is my response for what precious little it is worth. We can always trust people to be human; we can always trust the Lord to provide. That's all I know. I am so sorry that you experienced such loss in the middle of being very ill. It certainly doesn't seem fair or right. How have you been coming to terms with it?
