A Haven for Vee

Home Again

Though I've visited my home daily, I am truly home again having wakened in my own bed this morning in my treehouse bedroom.

I'll be taking a few days to pull things together around here. A month away and just blitzing in and out hasn't been enough to keep my home properly...laundry to the ceiling, dishes piled under the sink, a cat and flowers that need attention not to mention a groom, errr broom. And on top of all that, a call must be made to Fairpoint because the computer has "connectivity" issues.

Catch you all later...

  2. Playing catchup at home is not a bad thing. I'm glad you're back sleeping in your own bed. A month is a long time to just be popping in and out.

  7. Vee - isn't it great to leave and go somewhere and isn't it even greater to get back home!

Enjoy your groom time (er-broom time) and relax! The housework will still be there tomorrow!!

    Take care - :^) Vickie

  11. Welcome home, dear Vee. There's nothing quite like the smell and feel of your own house. Let the nesting begin! I do love the Christmas Tree Shop. It's a New England treasure trove of holiday decorating! ~Kathy

  16. This post sounds just like my entire summer. I feel like I haven't done anything at all to actually feel "at home" the past couple of months. It seems like we're constantly on the go. It's been a lot of fun, but I'm sure glad the summer of 2008 is all but over!! :)

  17. Welcome home. Have fun catching up! I always feel so behind at home and only on the days when I do a mad rush and fully clean up do I feel "caught up". It is temporary. I really must learn to enjoy, and find peace in, disorder!

    Love and hugs, Terri xoxo

  18. Glad to know your home again. Just saying those two words seems to bring a sigh of joy to the mind and soul. Hope you can settle in and have a wonderful blessed fall with that sweetie of yours and cozy up to many fires with lots of good warm drinks and good books.
