September Note Card Party

The first fire since the summer is lit, and is smoking into the room:
The sun-rays thread it through, like woof-lines in a loom.
Sparrows spurt from the hedge, whom misgivings appal
That winter did not leave last year for ever, after all...

 ~Thomas Hardy

Welcome! This is our seventh Note Card Party — and they said it wouldn't last. I'm so glad that you're here. Can't wait to visit you and see what you have come up with this time. You may be shocked that I didn't include a pumpkin nor a mum.

~Sedum~

~Wild Oats~

~Helenium Autumnale~

~Wood Pile and Brush~
Three of the four note cards date back two years. I am grateful for all the mosaics collages I've done because they are another way to load up photos.

Because I may actually have this set made up, I wanted to include two selections suitable for men. My card supply leans toward the feminine.

Please visit the sidebar button for rules. I'll not waste space here to restate them. Our next party will be October 17.

Take it away!

  7. Your pictures are all so pretty! And I love that you included some masculine selections. There certainly are far more cards that are appropriate for women, aren't there?

Anyone would love receiving one of these lovely note cards, Vee.

    Thanks for hosting again!

  17. What a great assortment of autumnal note cards. I especially like the wood pile in the last photo. Speaks of getting ready for winter, of the preparations that take place for the future even in this day of technological reliance.

  31. I need to stop doing this at the last minute like this!! :-/

I was tempted to "shamelessly upload" on Monday, but got distracted and never came back to it! Ha..now that I know I can, we'll see what happens for future Parties!

I love that your entries say FALL loud and clear but don't have any pumpkins or gourds or bales of straw! Nice!

  41. As a card maker myself I always find it is so much easier to make cards for females than males. So much more choice.
