William Who?~Mosaic Monday

I used the graveyard beside the church as my background photo for both of these mosaics.

Fascinating the things a gal can learn if she stops long enough to read one of those plaques on a rock in the churchyard on the ridge above her home. (Yes, I do love a prepositional phrase.) Honestly, I never knew. I'll spare you and send you to Wikipedia instead, if you are curious.

So nice to see Mary's links up early. Because of today's activities, it works out well for me; however, I am not happy to learn the reason why.

Follow along at Mary's Little Red House.

  5. Awwwww, sounds like the flu bug or something, has hit at Mary's house. -sigh-

Your mosaics are very crisp, clear, gentle, quiet, winter-y, calm, etc. There, I hope that was sort-of the look you were going-for. If not, forget I said anything. -grin-

  7. Pretty little church! I went through a period where I loved taking black and white photos of graveyards. I was thinking it would make a cool book but then I lost interest.

  16. Hey friend! Still here I am! Finally my last kid left, I'm back on my regularly scheduled work week (worked all last week) and I'm ready for the new year! Had to go back and do some reading here, Vee and see what you've been up to. Finishing out the year and the Christmas season and looking forward to DARE-ing yourself to step out there! Love it! I need to do some of that myself.

I am SO looking forward to reading some of your stories! Can't wait! 'Twil give us so much more insight to your childhood and your thoughts & dreams!

Love your new header, too, with all the seasons. Your summer pic is really making me yearn for spring flowers. This is the time of year that makes me so blue and mopey. I NEED sunshine!

Your post on Patti Page was great - I would have bought some of her syrup if I'd seen it. Didn't know she did that...I guess I remember the "doggie in the window" song most of all...

Take care - is there still snow on the ground? The church pictures were fabulous! Hugs to you - tell John HI! And tell him that I caught a gopher a couple of days ago, and I have two more traps set. I have a little stinker that keeps covering them over, but I'm determined!
