More Questions Results In

Now that was fun! John and I pretty much chuckled over your answers throughout the day yesterday.

My Responses:
1. Do you climb into bed on all fours or do you sit on the bed and swing your feet in?

Until recently, it was all fours. Now I do it the "old lady" ☺ way.

2. While we're on the subject, do you get into your car by standing on one leg while sticking the other one in, sitting down, and hauling the remaining leg after you (now don't be ridiculous, that is not three legs) or do you sit down and swing both feet in together?
The first.

3. Do you use the nearest chair for climbing or do you get out the step-ladder?
I'll climb on anything handy and sturdy. (I am quite concerned over you rocking chair and stools-on-wheels people.)

4. When faced with a challenging task, do you do it yourself or wait for your husband/someone else to do it?

For sixteen years, I did it myself. Now I'm quite spoiled, though I do give it a try first before calling for help.

5. If you are going to jump into the swimming hole, are you going to dive in or cannonball in?
Cannonball! (I live in the north where a swimming hole is a swimming hole. No poisonous snakes...)

6. Do you lick your ice cream cone or bite it?
Bite

7. When grocery shopping with your husband, does he push the cart or do you?
He does. My hope is that, like so many of you, he'll keep his mitts off the goods. His philosophy is at least two of everything on the list. Yup. He's a budget blower.

  2. This was such fun! Let's do it again! And I would like to mention how to properly COOK corn! One corn on the cob...leave shucks ON...cut off each end...wrap in a damp paper towel...microwave for 2 1/2 minutes...peel off shucks and roll in butter! Perfection! Hugs!

    1. That's how I cook it as well - cept I do two at a time for 5-6 minutes depending on size.

It's the only way to do it! : - )

  3. I must be the odd ball that push the cart. When he retired (he was in management) I still worked and he( took over) I mean managed me the house and cooking. Believe me that is a story to tell, I should write a book.

  4. Fun stuff!

Last year I tried cooking corn on the cob in the shuck in the oven! It is perfect and quick!

  17. I guess I missed the choice on #4 about it depending on the situation. I would definitely have made that choice. Oops!

  18. It was fun to take the quiz and fun reading the results. Are you thinking up new questions for us?

  19. I remember that good old cartoon, Vee.
    Fun survey!

  20. It was nice to read the results. Quite interesting. Thinking about swimmin' holes makes me want to go swimming again. It's been awhile since I dipped my toe in the water, not counting the daily shower. ~:)

  21. Fun seeing the results. It seems I am pretty average with everyone else here except the diving into the swimming hole (I dive).

  22. Well, heck, I missed out on all the fun. But, I have to say that I don't think I've ever crawled into bed on all fours since I was a kid! I sit on the edge and take it from there. And no. 7...you mean women actually get their hubbies to go grocery shopping with them?

(I'm awaiting help from blogger on the moving the blog list issue...if they answer. I know about how to get a separate page and all that, I was hoping there was a way to transfer a list with clickable links to said page, but I'm afraid that I'm gonna have to do it the hard way. Yikes, as I have a long list.)

    2. You are correct: hubbies...plural. See! You're not as tired as you thought. = D

  23. Seriously, you have no snakes there? If so I'd like to move there. And isn't it the truth, when the husbands come along the budget gets busted. Why is that … fear of starving? Thanks for some good fun, enjoyed the tally.

    1. I live in the north too and we just don't have many poisonous snakes here - we have harmless water snakes and wood snakes - and I am afraid of them even though they won't hurt me - but the true deep seated fear of snakes like you have in the south? I don't know how you EVER go swimming there! Seriously! Yikes now scary!!!!!

  24. Oh gosh, I hate I missed this one! I think I match all of your answers pretty close except the dh rarely goes to the store with me. I'm with podso- No snakes? Wow, I could live with that!

  25. I sure enjoyed this!

  26. I've been busy gardening and only lurking without leaving comments for almost a week now. What a hoot this questionnaire was but it's fun to see how others answer. I'm always watching people to see how they eat their corn on the cob and have a blast when I attend a corn roast in the fall. :-)

  27. LOL on the cartoon - I actually remember that one.

OK - for us. It was very early in my relationship dating my now hubs when we went up to the lake to visit all my family there....and of course locally grown corn on the cob was at our bbq party. There had to be at least 20 people or more there. And everyone was jabber jawin and having fun.....then it got quiet. Too quiet. And I looked up to see an entire room staring, then laughing at Michael and me......because he and I were eating our corn round and round and EVERYONE else ate theirs like a typewriter. So. We belonged together. We still think it is hilarious. Fun questionnaire. Keep it coming, it's a riot and a fun one to get to know others better.

  28. I'm a little late to 'take the quiz'...but I'm quite enjoying reading the results. And the comments! 'You have the wackiest quizzes', etc. Or Jill's...about gathering all bloggers together at the swimming hole to jump in together. What fun!
