Fun and Games

Before another week goes by and things get out of hand, I'll post the events of last Saturday. Just documenting, but you are always welcome to peek in on us. Last week, I mentioned that Laurel (my daughter) only wanted a BBQ and a wiffle ball game for her birthday. She received both.

There were decorations...

It was a beautiful, warm autumn day...

The Players all showed up and the birthday gifts, too...

There was cake, ice cream, and cute, fancy soda pops thanks to Michelle (my daughter-in-law)...

Adam (my son) even found a candle...

Wiffle balls had to be rounded up...

Wiffle ball scouts...

At last the game begins...

and giving congratulatory hugs...

Sam, on the other hand, required capturing...

  6. This looks like such a lovely time of family fun and your daughter getting everything she hoped for for her birthday! I am embarrassed that I know nothing about a game called wiffle ball. I'm going to wikipedia now to see if I can learn somethings. The cake is beautiful! And that little line of colorful trees, did you make that?

  12. It sure looks like a lot of family fun was had. And the birthday girl got hug at last!
It appears that you still have a lot of green leaves on your trees, Vee. Ours are all almost gone and we are heading into our third week of rainy and cloudy days. Really a rotten Fall so far....I'm wondering if we will even see an Indian summer this year.
