Your decorating is wonderful and perfect for the season, now that I am seeing it on the last day of October! LOL. I totally agree with your first sentence ...Hi Vee,

I totally agree with your first sentence about God's decor. Fall is SUCH a wonderful season. I like people's fall decor, but the minimal for Halloween. I loved seeing your pictures. Glad to see that pretty sunbeam you captured in your den. :) I love, love your lace curtains, and I haven't seen a rotary phone in a while. I like your turkey plates much better than mine -- I love brown transferware. About the deer, they eat everything around here. Sigh. We think they ate some of the leaves off our apple tree, and they for sure at some big pieces off our Arborvitaes (new evergreens we planted this spring). They're just like goats.

Thank you for sharing your fall beauty with us, Vee. I think fall is the coziest time of the year. Have a great week!!

Hugs,

Denise at Forest Manor

P.S. We've been slowly getting the garden ready for winter ("we" meaning Rick) - haha. We haven't had any frost yet this year but the night temperatures are dipping closer to freezing as the calendar days tick off. We had a lovely day celebrating our Canadian Thanksgiving with family. Just arrived back home and one of us is already off for a wee snooze. I'm right behind him. hehe.

Wishing you a pleasant week ahead. I attended my first Women's Retreat in many years 1/2 of Friday and 1/2 of Saturday. I'm still processing my thoughts about the event. I'll leave it at that. I'm with you and have already put up my fall Thanksgiving decor so I can enjoy it for 2 solid months before I pull out Christmas. I like the vignettes you came up with. I've only used that word, vignette, since blogging. Looking at the definition I'm not sure it's really the right word to use for small areas of decor. I'm drawn to the top of that bookcase and what you did there. The combination of the books, lamps, wreath and that great window frame! We are still waiting for cooler Fall days here. The nights and mornings are crisp but we're still warming up in the afternoon and our air conditioning kicks on in the early evening. At least we won't be trudging through the corn maze in the snow this year!! I have lots of planter clearing to do. Our kids are coming in a couple weekends and I'm thinking I'll impose on them to do it for me. Sorry for my short novel. Have a wonderful Sunday! ellen b.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14531430948905935301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4152193618785368659.post-81468673562161051992022-10-09T10:49:41.757-04:002022-10-09T10:49:41.757-04:00Have I ever mentioned how lovely your home is?
