I just try not to worry about getting something finished. Most generally, if it's something I REALLY want to do, it gets done.
With all that being said, however, I am freaking out a bit about a post that must be finished and published on the 11th. I say MUST because I committed to it. I am pretty sure, tho, that it will get done..just hoping to finish it up today, get it in draft scheduled to publish and thus not worrying about it all these 10 days.

Your tea towels are very pretty.bj https://www.blogger.com/profile/09327534885194207074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4152193618785368659.post-51777544214346034342014-08-02T07:11:30.382-04:002014-08-02T07:11:30.382-04:00I'm still lingering on the part about promises...I'm still lingering on the part about promises not kept and unfinished projects making you feel guilty.

That's the story of my life these days, and it has been dragging me down. I keep thinking about a quote: "There is nothing so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. " I can't remember who said it (should probably google it to see if I have the words right, too.) It's so true though. I wake up in the morning tired from the lingerers and go to sleep tired because they linger still.

As to your tea towel, it is really lovely, and I have neither the talent nor the ooomph to do something so pretty. I would want to, though. (Glad you mentioned that the drop cloth was too heavy. I'm the kind who would be prone to rushing out to the store to get some with good intentions which just end up "fatiquing" me. Ha!
