Window Project Mosaic
I'm not all about creating pretty mosaics, just so you'll know. ;> But all is not lost as you can find some gorgeous ones at Mary's Mosaic Monday.
John worked all Saturday on our little window project and all he got for it was this homemade pizza for lunch. I used the recipe posted at Little Birdie Secrets.
A big thank you to Dawn at The Feathered Nest for all the beautiful images used to make this project and for the idea in the first place.
Enjoy a wonderful week!

What a beautiful project...applause...
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to see you!! I love the window project. And, if someone made me homemade pizza to do it, I would be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteNow that looks like a day right out of a storybook. I blew up the mosaic and loved the process and the idea. That last photo of your husband at rest is great.
ReplyDeleteThe pizza looks mighty good.
I hope this day is a good one for you and yours.
PS. I had to chuckle at your comment about President Obama and good news. I know, I am not a fan. But, to hear him encouraging fathers to stand up to the challenge and be there for their families did make me glad.
Great project and so is the mosaic.

ReplyDeleteYaaaaaaaaaaaa for a Sunday well spent! Doing loved things. Which spells relaxation, as well as accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteAnd Yaaaa for you and your mastery of the Quest To Make Mosaics! I'm so *jealous*. -pout-
Yes, I know. If I'd spend some time, working on my own mastery of this Quest... Instead of spending so much time following Net gossip about "Robsten,". -grin- Perhaps I'd be able to put up flower mosaics by now. Perhaps... Maybe even my working on it, wouldn't produce results!!! -grin-

Yes, we live on an island that is so expensive to enter or leave...all the bridge and tunnel tolls are going up in price.
Vee,
ReplyDeleteFantastic project! I love that you put it behind your twigs in the corner, perfect. I would trade window scraping for homemade pizza! Still keeping you in my thoughts.
That's such a creative project. Your John is a keeper, but you already knew that. I'm off to check out that pizza recipe because it looks really good.

ReplyDeleteHugs,

What a beautiful project, I will have to take a look at some of those pics you used.
ReplyDeleteI made pizza this past weekend and mine sure didn't look like yours. Your crust looks amazing.
I saw something the other day as I was driving into town and I thought of you and I must get a pic so you will believe me. We have a rather liberated artist living amonst the communtiy and he does alot of weird art with huge pieces of sheet metal. He has decided the landscaping needs a 10 foot tall turkey buzzard to sit very close to the road way for all to enjoy. I just thougt, "I wonder what Vee would think of this". I really must snap a pic.

I love windows... there is something about them....

Hi Vee, Just stopping by to check in on you (I've been out of town for 2 1/2 weeks)...I love your beautiful window mosaic! How lovely and peaceful. I also love the tree branches in front of it...it looks so enchanting, like peeking through the woods.
ReplyDeleteI read your post about your Grandma and mama...bless you for taking such good care of them! My mom (in Cali) went to the hospital last night..waiting to hear...it's hard being so far away.
Be Blessed today Vee, you are a blessing to so many.

ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Ohhhhh I love the total simplicity of the new look here. The white and simple new look here. Or whatever you choose to call it. It's refreshing and lovely and yummy.
Change is always fun, yes? :-)

Stunning..m.
ReplyDeleteYour new header is LOVELY! So much grace at your house --- sweet contentment.

'AA'
Very cool..I love those type of projects...and hey...Pizza is good...I'd do anything for that one on the photo!
ReplyDeleteHi Vee!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous man you have there! :) It would take more than a pizza to get my DH's help like that! I'm so happy to hear that your mom and grandma are together. A huge blessing! I have been to the ER 13 times in the past 8 weeks and spent several nights in the Concord Hospital with my husband. uugghh.. it is hugely exhausting and I'm glad to see that you and John took a moment to get out and about w/o errands to run. Those onion rings look fabulous!!
Take Care,
xoxo~
Abbie
(my crew is all better I think, altho we are waiting for a lyme disease test on my husband... hopefully that will answer lots of questions!)
Stunning, Vee! Maybe you should do another one with all your photos in just as they are in your mosaic too!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are being gentle with yourself, my friend, (and that lovely husband of yours) - take time to do some fun stuff!
Lots of love
