What a beautiful project...applause...
I was so excited to see you!! I love the window project. And, if someone made me homemade pizza to do it, I would be thrilled!
Now that looks like a day right out of a storybook. I blew up the mosaic and loved the process and the idea. That last photo of your husband at rest is great. The pizza looks mighty good.I hope this day is a good one for you and yours.PS. I had to chuckle at your comment about President Obama and good news. I know, I am not a fan. But, to hear him encouraging fathers to stand up to the challenge and be there for their families did make me glad.
Great project and so is the mosaic.Shantana
Are you working that poor man to death! A lovely idea and so unusual. Fits right in with your room.
A great project and the pizza looks good too!Carolyn

The window is fabulous! Love it!!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaa for a Sunday well spent! Doing loved things. Which spells relaxation, as well as accomplishment. And Yaaaa for you and your mastery of the Quest To Make Mosaics! I'm so *jealous*. -pout- Yes, I know. If I'd spend some time, working on my own mastery of this Quest... Instead of spending so much time following Net gossip about "Robsten,". -grin- Perhaps I'd be able to put up flower mosaics by now. Perhaps... Maybe even my working on it, wouldn't produce results!!! -grin-Aunt Amelia
Oh how I love a mosaic that tells a story. LOVE that last picture of John taking his well-deserved rest. :) Thanks so much for sharing your project on Mosaic Monday, Vee. Now I'm off to snag that pizza recipe... ;)

The window frame looks gorgeous --I love the bird images--and the pizza looks yummy!Glad John had a wonderful Father's Day!Yes, we live on an island that is so expensive to enter or leave...all the bridge and tunnel tolls are going up in price.
Vee,Fantastic project! I love that you put it behind your twigs in the corner, perfect. I would trade window scraping for homemade pizza! Still keeping you in my thoughts.
That's such a creative project. Your John is a keeper, but you already knew that. I'm off to check out that pizza recipe because it looks really good. - Suzanne

I love your window! I have a place that I could display one...I love this idea!
WOWZER! I love that window project! I would work for a homemade pizza that looks like that!Hugs,Penny
What a beautiful project, I will have to take a look at some of those pics you used.I made pizza this past weekend and mine sure didn't look like yours. Your crust looks amazing. I saw something the other day as I was driving into town and I thought of you and I must get a pic so you will believe me. We have a rather liberated artist living amonst the communtiy and he does alot of weird art with huge pieces of sheet metal. He has decided the landscaping needs a 10 foot tall turkey buzzard to sit very close to the road way for all to enjoy. I just thougt, "I wonder what Vee would think of this". I really must snap a pic.Shanda
I love windows... there is something about them.... cielo

[June 24, 2009 16:11] Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Ohhhhh I love the total simplicity of the new look here. The white and simple new look here. Or whatever you choose to call it. It's refreshing and lovely and yummy. Change is always fun, yes? :-)Aunt Amelia

Hi Vee! What a fabulous man you have there! :) It would take more than a pizza to get my DH's help like that! I'm so happy to hear that your mom and grandma are together. A huge blessing! I have been to the ER 13 times in the past 8 weeks and spent several nights in the Concord Hospital with my husband. uugghh.. it is hugely exhausting and I'm glad to see that you and John took a moment to get out and about w/o errands to run. Those onion rings look fabulous!!Take Care, xoxo~Abbie(my crew is all better I think, altho we are waiting for a lyme disease test on my husband... hopefully that will answer lots of questions!)
Stunning, Vee! Maybe you should do another one with all your photos in just as they are in your mosaic too! I hope you are being gentle with yourself, my friend, (and that lovely husband of yours) - take time to do some fun stuff!Lots of love
What a pretty project you all made with the window. The pizza looks very tasty too.
