Window Project Mosaic

I'm not all about creating pretty mosaics, just so you'll know. ;> But all is not lost as you can find some gorgeous ones at Mary's Mosaic Monday.

John worked all Saturday on our little window project and all he got for it was this homemade pizza for lunch. I used the recipe posted at Little Birdie Secrets.

A big thank you to Dawn at The Feathered Nest for all the beautiful images used to make this project and for the idea in the first place.

Enjoy a wonderful week!

  6. Now that looks like a day right out of a storybook. I blew up the mosaic and loved the process and the idea. That last photo of your husband at rest is great.

    The pizza looks mighty good.

I hope this day is a good one for you and yours.

PS. I had to chuckle at your comment about President Obama and good news. I know, I am not a fan. But, to hear him encouraging fathers to stand up to the challenge and be there for their families did make me glad.

  14. Yaaaaaaaaaaaa for a Sunday well spent! Doing loved things. Which spells relaxation, as well as accomplishment.

And Yaaaa for you and your mastery of the Quest To Make Mosaics! I'm so *jealous*. -pout-

Yes, I know. If I'd spend some time, working on my own mastery of this Quest... Instead of spending so much time following Net gossip about "Robsten,". -grin- Perhaps I'd be able to put up flower mosaics by now. Perhaps... Maybe even my working on it, wouldn't produce results!!! -grin-

  30. What a beautiful project, I will have to take a look at some of those pics you used.

I made pizza this past weekend and mine sure didn't look like yours. Your crust looks amazing.

I saw something the other day as I was driving into town and I thought of you and I must get a pic so you will believe me. We have a rather liberated artist living amonst the communtiy and he does alot of weird art with huge pieces of sheet metal. He has decided the landscaping needs a 10 foot tall turkey buzzard to sit very close to the road way for all to enjoy. I just thougt, "I wonder what Vee would think of this". I really must snap a pic.

Be Blessed today Vee, you are a blessing to so many.

  55. Hi Vee!
What a fabulous man you have there! :) It would take more than a pizza to get my DH's help like that! I'm so happy to hear that your mom and grandma are together. A huge blessing! I have been to the ER 13 times in the past 8 weeks and spent several nights in the Concord Hospital with my husband. uugghh.. it is hugely exhausting and I'm glad to see that you and John took a moment to get out and about w/o errands to run. Those onion rings look fabulous!!
    Take Care,
    xoxo~
