Awakenings

Letting go of Blogdom reminds me of the movie Awakenings starring Robin Williams who plays the part of a neurologist giving his catatonic patients some medication that brings them back to life. Sadly, the results do not last. That's just how it is with me right now. I've been here having great fun visiting and writing as much as I could, but now it's time to slip back. Hope to catch you all again one day soon! Until then, keep your grin on.

  2. Ohhhhh, pretty new Autumn-y header photo mosaic. [How ever do you make a mosaic, of a single pic???]

But the laptop must return to it's owner, I see. -sigh- Well, I'm so glad you had a small window of opportunity to play in Blog Land again, for a bit.

Would that computer wizzzz please come and do his magic, on your own computer please? Or maybe he has, and your own computer did not respond to his magic. And it may be off at a 'Computer Hospital.' -sigh- Wouldn't that be almost appropriate, hu? In a sad way, of course. "Murphy's Law" and all that...

Sooo, back to pen and ink, for me. For the time being. :-))))

You will be back with us, in Blog Land, at some point. You will!

    Gentle hugs,
    Aunt Amelia

  6. When the time is right for you, we will be here patiently waiting. It was so nice to hear from and about you, but I can tell you are dealing with a lot. A rest from blogging might be best.

However, I know I am going to be a lot less present here over the next three months. Busy season.

  14. I loved the "Awakenings" book and movie! Good analogy Vee! ;-)

You have a lot on your plate right now so I fully understand why you can't spend time on the computer. Real life calls and blogging life can wait a bit longer.

Hope your Nan had a very happy birthday and enjoyable party!

My love nad best wishes to her and your Mom and John, and all your family. You'll be in my prayers!

    Hugs, Pat

  23. Don't stay away too long, we will miss you.

I do understand having to get away for awhile. Just the two weeks I was away when visiting New England helped clear the cobwebs (and the older we get, the easier the cobwebs seem to settle in). :)

  26. Dearest Vee,

I pray you won't be gone long from us and that God's will be done in your lives. I needed to hear the scripture on confidence you posted on 10-11-09. It was like someone whispered in my ear "go to Vee's" and there were the words from Him that I needed. I hope you pop back in to give us more inspiration from our Lord & Savior.

    Blessings & huge hugs, Sherry

  28. Hope your world is going well! I am recovering from breast cancer surgery... two weeks ago I had a double mastectomy and a hysterectomy. Recovery is a hard road but my friends have done so much to make sure that I am doing little to nothing myself! I have had food delivered daily plus cards and letters and words of encouragement! I miss hearing from you but I know you are living your real life!

I just wanted you to know that you are thought of. I hope things are going well with your Mother and Grandmother.

We are having a great Fall and both Warren's and My Mom are in Israel as tourists. They were having a lot of fun last time I talked to them.

    Be well!
