Mum on the Deck~Mosaic Monday

Got that deck painted at last. Two coats and I'm calling it "good enough" for who did it and "good enough" for whom it is for. Course now I want to show it
off. Looks as if I'll need to do a little more shopping for mums as only one looks skimpy and cheap. ☺

Find out what others are doing this week at Little Red House. It's always fun to see what Mary's doing. (This week it is thought-provoking.)

  7. Looks great!! Love the gray color with the mums. I also love that rust planter!

It's been a rainy weekend here. I still haven't got to mow the yard and we only have tomorrow before we head back south. But I'm loving the cooler weather and won't complain! This time last year we were still in triple digits!

Skimpy and cheap...you do have a way with words...
Speaking of which, I am generally too cheap to buy mums in the fall, anyway.

  15. I like the colour of the deck Vee and one of those humongous mums would look super in the corner.
We had a hockey team come around to sell them and I took pity on the small boy carrying such a large pot to the door that I just bought the one he had so he could put it down.

  22. Good morning Vee!

Your deck looks so great! Two coats is a lot of work. The mum looks great in that iron basket, yellow is my favorite for sure.
Your Sunday post sure spoke to my soul. How refreshing and soothing. Thank you for always bringing the Word to us in a special way.

  26. Vee your deck looks great. Wish mine looked as good. Went to town the other day and forgot the mums. I just found out I have a compression fracture of T 9 due to osteoporosis. Oh so painful. More Aleve and a Thoracic brace. Always something. Blessings dear friend.

  30. Your mosaic arrangement looks good - your deck is great! It will look really good with a bunch of mums! Last year that's what I did - bought four pots of mums and stuck them in my square foot gardens (which are really for food but....)

  33. How great to get the deck painted. I really like the colour. And mums are such a pretty fall tradition. I don't have any yet, perhaps I'd better get on the ball before they disappear.

  34. Oh I really really should do my deck as it really looks awful. It's been a headache ever since I painted over my checkerboard pattern(which never peeled or chipped btw). Good for you in getting yours done and it looks good!
