The first fire since the summer is lit, and is smoking into the room:
The sun-rays thread it through, like woof-lines in a loom.
Sparrows spurt from the hedge, whom misgivings appal
That winter did not leave last year for ever, after all...
Welcome! This is our seventh Note Card Party — and they said it wouldn't last. I'm so glad that you're here. Can't wait to visit you and see what you have come up with this time. You may be shocked that I didn't include a pumpkin nor a mum.
|~Wood Pile and Brush~|
Because I may actually have this set made up, I wanted to include two selections suitable for men. My card supply leans toward the feminine.
Please visit the sidebar button for rules. I'll not waste space here to restate them. Our next party will be October 17.
Take it away!
Your series of Notecards are stunning! Beautiful pink sedum and wild oats. All your photos are 'notecard' worthy. Thank you for hosting this lovely party.
Pretty photos! I love the first one.ReplyDelete
HELP, Vee, can you delete my link, the wrong one!! Ay yay yay!!! ThanksReplyDelete
I think 5. is the correct one, Vee, so sorry. I hit enter too fast. You definitely should have cards made. Beautiful flowers, perfect lighting. xoReplyDelete
My link is not any good. It appears that it has 2 l s at the end of the address! I can not imagine how I messed it up again this time! SORRY! If you want to delete me AGAIN...I'll understand! Love this fun party. Sweet hugs!ReplyDelete
Thanks Vee! Hugs!ReplyDelete
I luv your note cards...I don't care if they were $100 a box. :))ReplyDelete
This is such a fun and different kind of link party...I just love it.
Thanks, dear heart...
Your pictures are all so pretty! And I love that you included some masculine selections. There certainly are far more cards that are appropriate for women, aren't there?ReplyDelete
Anyone would love receiving one of these lovely note cards, Vee.
Thanks for hosting again!
Beautiful choices Vee. I like that you chose 2 masculine ones. We can't forget the men in our lives. ;)ReplyDelete
Well that first one - with the pink flowers - that is my favorite this time.ReplyDelete
Great note cards vee. Thanks for hosting again. Hard to believe this is number 7 already.ReplyDelete
These are all so pretty. My favorite is the third one. Thanks for hosting this fun party, Vee. DebReplyDelete
wow, the "Helenium Autumnale" & "Sedum" are gorgeous. such lovely views. (:ReplyDelete
Vee - I love all your cards - stunning!!! I also absolutely love the quote - I hope you don't mind if I borrow that one - it's brilliant!ReplyDelete
Those are really lovely Vee. I especially like the wild oats photo.ReplyDelete
Those are wonderful photos, Vee.ReplyDelete
Thank you for hosting your wonderful monthly linky card party!
This is always fun! Love your photos!ReplyDelete
What a great assortment of autumnal note cards. I especially like the wood pile in the last photo. Speaks of getting ready for winter, of the preparations that take place for the future even in this day of technological reliance.ReplyDelete
I'm missing my favorite party. Crunch time right now but look forward to next month. Your photos are great and the presentation is lovely. What could be better than a stack of notecards. It definitely gives that look.ReplyDelete
Beautiful!!! ALL are beautiful!!ReplyDelete
These 'parties' kind of intimidate me....but I am visiting them for the first time. Can't believe what I've been missing!!! Such artistic talent!!!
I love your choices. Choosing four was very hard this time.....ReplyDelete
It is late I will be back tomorrow to visit and see yours better.ReplyDelete
Hi Vee! I made it two months in a row!ReplyDelete
No, you didn't do the "fall" thing - but I did. See you used John's wild oats! tee-hee!
OK, I'm off to see what everybody else did!
Great photos, Vee. When I grow up I want to take photos like you!ReplyDelete
Thanks for hosting the party! Fun Times!
Your note cards are very pretty, Vee. I think the third one is my favorite. Thanks for hosting this fun party!ReplyDelete
Good idea to include the fellows.ReplyDelete
I bet I can guess which two are for them.
Your sedum is beautiful too!
Neat idea--I like the last one with the wood pile best. I'll try to participate in the future (already have my post up for today and certainly wouldn't want my picture on a notecard! I did add your button on my sidebar though to help me remember.ReplyDelete
How pretty! And some photos of wild oats and a wood pile for the men, LOL! Was a woodshed or doghouse not available?ReplyDelete
Love your pics! There's something very comforting in having the wood stacked and ready to go! Thanks for hosting Vee:@)ReplyDelete
Love this party, it is such an interesting one! Thanks for hosting.ReplyDelete
Gorgeous photos, Vee. Love the Helenium Autumnale especially. The Hot Pink of the sedum is especially eye pleasing. I'll take a set! :D :DReplyDelete
I need to stop doing this at the last minute like this!! :-/ReplyDelete
I was tempted to "shamelessly upload" on Monday, but got distracted and never came back to it! Ha..now that I know I can, we'll see what happens for future Parties!
I love that your entries say FALL loud and clear but don't have any pumpkins or gourds or bales of straw! Nice!
Oh, I love your photos! I wish I had linked up, maybe I'll remember and do it next month!ReplyDelete
Have a blessed day!
PS I came over from BJ's website!
Great shots Vee, and definitely notecard worthy. I'll have to get my act together and join you sometime.ReplyDelete
Beautiful photos, note card worthy for sure. Love the one of the wild oats.ReplyDelete
I like your "different" Autumnal choices. :-)ReplyDelete
Now a Disclaimer... Blogger switched me over to the NEW WAY, and I can't switch back, this time.
My blogging fun is on hold, until I learn this &^*^%$&&%% NEW Blogger! Grrrrr.....
P.S. STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!!!!!!!
The seventh month...already? Great photo choices for your alternative autumn note cards!ReplyDelete
The Sedum is beautiful- I need to look for that next spring! Thanks for hosting the note party Vee!ReplyDelete
Very pretty selections for this time of year and so thoughtful to think of the men too :).ReplyDelete
I didn't get my act together to participate this time. Hopefully next month.
I always enjoy seeing your photos day in and day out. these are as nice as ever. Thanks once again for hosting. Who said it wouldn't last? Certainly not me!ReplyDelete
Hi Vee - can you work your magic again? I have no idea how to change the fact that my blog goes back to July rather than today's post. Just click on the top photo to update my blog if you decide to visit. Thanks Vee!ReplyDelete
As a card maker myself I always find it is so much easier to make cards for females than males. So much more choice.ReplyDelete
SO pretty! I love visiting on Note Card party day. It always leaves me with a smile because you choose the most peaceful photos. And I am very sure the men appreciated them as well! =)ReplyDelete
I'm sorry I couldn't participate this month...we are closing on our house in CO tomorrow! Pray all goes well for us, please. I love your card selections--the wood pile is a nice rustic photo that every man would appreciate, Vee.ReplyDelete
Another great party. Can't believe this is number 7 already!
Love your yellow flowers and the sedum the best. Funny, 'cause IRL I am not a sedum fan.
I'm not a note card party person, but I most definitely love looking at all the beautiful pictures.ReplyDelete
Maybe some day I'll feel like joining you girls.
Your pictures are so pretty!!!
I love your pictures, Vee! We had Sedum growing at our first house, and I intend to plant some here. Yours is such a pretty color.ReplyDelete
Thanks so much for hosting every month, and have a wonderful week!
