Wow. That's kind of a mess. I still had fun.
I took this picture...the best of the Pink Moon (Worm Moon, Grass Moon, whatever!) shots taken last night ...
and slapped it over the top of my favorite tree branches (Tri-Colored Beech).
A happy weekend to you and I hope that you get to see the beautiful Pink Moon.
Gorgeous! All of your photos! Yummy even. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just don't have any "maybe-I'll-try-for-a-pic" of the full moon left. -moan- -grin-
That's awesome Vee. The pink moon was to our south and I didn't see it as there are no windows on that end and I was too tired to go outside. I've never seen a Tri-coloured Beech tree before. It is really pretty. Maybe tonight I'll see it rise (the moon that is).
ReplyDeleteThe moon was very beautiful last night --- even from way over here. Beautiful double exposure --- a calming, pink delight!

Very creative!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and beautiful moon.
It is so hard to see the colorful moon, too much cloud cover or pollution! Great photos, Vee. xo
ReplyDeleteGot to see that moon last night. It was so loud it woke me up.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
The tree is beautiful! I will have to run outside tonight and check out the moon. Lot of cloud cover here though.
ReplyDeleteYour tree isn't like that now is it? Everything here is drab with spurts of green trying to get through. Loved the moon, especially the middle photo with the trees like that. Great job. Thanks for sharing. ~ Abby
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, I not noticed a pink moon but it's too cold outside at night now.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
Love your photo Vee. It looks like we both got to enjoy the 'Pink' moon.
ReplyDeleteSoooooo beautiful...the moon, the beech tree, and the melding of the two photographs! (Is that this year's photo of the beech? Has spring come to your corner?)
ReplyDeleteA mess? I don't think so - it is lovely and mysterious - that shot would make a wonderful cover for a mystery book.
ReplyDeleteI commented to my friend about the full moon last night as we drove home from a garden club meeting. I didn't realize it was a pink moon, just how lovely it looked.
ReplyDeleteYou captured a good shot and I love the foliage of the tri-coloured beech.
Judith
We stood outside and looked at the full moon last night. I didn't think about taking a photo...I'm so glad you did! What a lovely affect with the pink blooms! Enjoy your weekend my friend!
ReplyDeleteThe moon was truly awesome last night!
ReplyDeleteI totally adore your pics of it - esp behind the tree like that, so clever.
Hugs.
Nice job of combining the pink moon with your tri-colored beech tree! Mysterious looking. I did see the moon last night and was too lazy to go out an photograph it.
ReplyDeleteThese were just gorgeous! Loved them. Enjoy your week-end!
ReplyDeleteThe moon was lovely and was still lovely this evening too. I love the moon and it's beauty that makes me give thanks to it's creator, my creator too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Vee.
Deanna
I love your picture! I didn't know the moon was pink. I have noticed that the moon has been really full and beautiful that last few nights.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant pictures Vee! You are super creative. I love your new header too BTW.
ReplyDeleteOh, shoot, Vee...I missed the pink moon....
ReplyDeleteNow that's just beautiful! I didn't even know such a thing existed or that we were going to be in the pink last night. I really need to keep up with this kind of stuff!
ReplyDeleteThe moon has been beautiful for the last couple of nights and mornings. That is a gorgeous tree!
ReplyDeleteDebbie
I didn't know it was a pink one! I'll have to notice though we seem to be in for a bit of a cloud cover for the next few days. Will have to show the grands tonight when I babysit --if we can see it--we always say goodnight to the moon.
ReplyDeleteI think it turned out fabulous Vee! I read about the pink moon in today's paper. Never heard that term before. I looked for the moon last night, but it was cloudy here.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Blue Moon, but never a pink moon. I'm gonna be checkin' it out tonight !
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! You're always having fun, Vee!
ReplyDeleteLong ago, we had neighbors with a tri-colored beech. It was lovely but very very small and never, in 20 years of so, grew any larger. I wonder about the size of the one you know.
I think it's a great photo! Love your creativity!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I wonder if that moon will still be out tonight. I'm going to check.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen a tri-colored Beech before. It sure is pretty and even prettier with the pink moon shining through.
ReplyDeleteTri-colored Beech! So pretty I'll have to add that to my landscaping want list!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo Vee and I love the header also.
The moon was so beautiful that I kept going back to the window to stare at it.
ReplyDeleteHehehe, I told my husband I hope there was no hidden meaning in my love of full moons. ;)
Oh... thanks for the link, I didn't have it!
Enchantingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI was gorgeous here too! Love that tri-colored beech tree.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that our moon was pink, but I did catch a glimpse - it was a bit cloudy... That's a beautiful tree - love the leaves! Hope you're doing well, Vee. Tell John hello for us!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely talent you have developed! It looks like a fabric collage to me! I hope you have a gallery wall of these lovely gems!
ReplyDeleteHi Vee,
ReplyDeleteLove the tree silhouettes against the moon, and your back drop that you used is lovely
Hope you have a great day.
Karen
We've had so much cloud cover, no moon to be seen.
ReplyDeleteYour tri-colored tree is beautiful!!!
It's lovely, Vee. The pinks and greens of spring are just so beautiful.
ReplyDeletePink moon...pink beech...it's all good! I think I was photographing that same moon at the same time...just from another place!
ReplyDeleteYou have more talent than I do. Great work.
ReplyDeletePretty pics, Vee. I don't think I've ever seen a tree like yours before. Beautiful. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI saw this pretty pink moon earlier in the week! It was so luminous!
ReplyDeletebeautiful, Vee.
