A Reminder and a New Rule
Last year at this time, I threw my hands up into the air and said forget it. That's because the note card party fell on the Wednesday just before Thanksgiving. This year, we've been blessed with a late Thanksgiving, depending upon how you gauge such things.
Anywho. I'm going forward. Mr. Linky will be available between two and two-thirty tomorrow afternoon, the party will run all through the following day and until about 10 Thursday morning.
*Please read the rules*
The new one: Four pictures plus a box top cover if you choose featuring all for a total of five. One more and I will visit without commenting. I know. Tough punishment. ☺
~Note Card Box Top~
If you have any questions, please ask in comments and I'll respond there for everyone's benefit.
Can't wait to see what you've been working on for this one!
This may be in the rules but I'll ask here, too. I know I'm going to use photos that have been posted on my blog already. Can I take those photos and add text to them just for the note card party? Photos that had no text when they were posted? Thanks! And HUGS!ReplyDelete
Yes! You may edit your previously posted photos in any way you wish. You may also separate photos that previously appeared in a mosaic. Thanks for a great question!Delete
That's great! I've always loved the quotes others have on their note cards. Thanks!Delete
I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with,. Vee. Hope you have a great stress-free week- xo DianaReplyDelete
Aaakkk, I wanted to do this this month and now it's upon us. I'm going to try my hardest ;)ReplyDelete
I'm looking forward to this one Vee and will have to get cracking on my choices. I like the box top cover idea. I hope I can invent one!!ReplyDelete
while you guys are sharing your beautiful cards,ReplyDelete
i will just be playing cards . . . bridge. :)
I've got my post all ready, but now your throw in the wild card about a mosaic which features all of them. Argh... Some are vertical and some are horizontal. Gosh, I really hate mosaics for this reason.ReplyDelete
I'm not sure if that's a question. = DDelete
IF YOU CHOOSE, Donna. Only if you choose. This is not a requirement; it is merely a nod to what a lot of participants have done. A "this far and no further" if you will.
I signed up for iPiccy this afternoon so that I could use a free mosaic that would fit my photos without resorting to square crops. If others are doing the mosaic, then I don't want to be the odd person out.Delete
Thanks for the reminder and the rules! :)ReplyDelete
Vee, I have to miss this month. Dragging my feet with new lap top, no photos to look through, and I canno link up with this iPad.ReplyDelete
Vee, I am look forward to seeing all the beautiful pictures! Thank you for hosting this.ReplyDelete
I better get to work. This one really did sneak up on me!ReplyDelete
May I advertise mine for sale? If not that's ok, I'll do it in another post.ReplyDelete
I think if you do it as a quick blurb that would be okay. Perhaps others will give us some feedback.Delete
Grateful for the reminder ---time really does fly!ReplyDelete
Looking forward to linking up for the first time :)ReplyDelete
YAY card party time whoo hoo! I am laughing, you crack me up. Sure wish we lived near one another I know we would be tried and true real life friends - laughing the entire time. Big hugs. ♥ReplyDelete
Looking forward to another great party at your place!ReplyDelete
I am married to a card. Does that count in any way?ReplyDelete
Only if you have four of them. Hahahahhaha...Delete
I'm sort of having a senior moment here. Am understanding right and the previous way of doing is still okay?ReplyDelete
Absolutely correct! ☺Delete
Can't wait to attend my favorite blog party! See you soon.ReplyDelete
I was stumped at the box top cover until I read in the comments it is a horizontal mosaic. I hope this is correct? Better get to work, I have to adjust the size of each photo before posting so I don't use so much room from Google. Big photos are nice, but I've found need this tweaking. :-)ReplyDelete
If you'd like to do a box cover featuring your four notecard selections, you may. You are not limited to any particular mosaic design with it. You may "dress it up" any way that you choose. It is not necessary to do a box cover at all. So many had started to do one that I thought this would be a way of "allowing" it. So either way, Judith, four notecards with OR without a box top mosaic.Delete
Hope this cleared the message instead of muddying it.
I hope to join your lovely note party in the future. There are so many beautiful pictures. Do you have a favorite editing program for your mosaic? Take care Vee. xo LindaReplyDelete
