It Felt Like Christmas~Mosaic Monday
* Perhaps it was a visit from a new great-grandgirlie...
* Perhaps it was a visit from a daughter or even two...
* Perhaps it was a visit from the first great-grandgirlie who had just been to see The Nutcracker Ballet yesterday and can now dance on point...
* Perhaps it was the teddy bear in the tree...
* Perhaps it was the lights reflected in the window...
* Perhaps it was the reading of Christmas recipes...
Whatever the reason, it felt like Christmas today.

I love your mosaic Vee. And I love that I can scroll back up while commenting. Is this new for you? Maybe I am just noticing it. :) We have the same Nutcracker book, our daughter's favourite. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI had to take a second look, I thought that was a doll, and I see it is a real doll. She's so sweet Vee; it must be special when you become a great-grandmother.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's starting to look like Christmas at your house now too - just let me know if you want any of our snow!

Your mosaic has such a beautiful glow to it, as do your words!
ReplyDeleteWhatever it was, Vee, I think there was enough of it to go around, as I think I got some of it too...from your wonderful mosaic and words!
ReplyDeleteYes, your beautiful mosaic and text gave me a bit of Christmas joy too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt is starting to feel like Christmas around here - at least it feels cold for a change!
ReplyDeleteVee, I love this mosaic!!! It really puts me in mind of Christmas. I love all the images, but I think the lights reflecting in the window may be my very favorite.

How special! That new baby sure is a little bundle of joy! I'm so glad you had a good holiday! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteAhhh -- John's new great grand girl is so adorable! There is nothing better than children to bring joy to a house. I felt that at my nephew's home this weekend as he has four young children and his bother came over with his two girls --it was so much fun!
ReplyDeleteYour "feeling like Christmas" mosaic is so wonderful, Vee! It's put me in the Christmas spirit!
I will put up my christmas tree tomorrow then it will feel like christmas, I have to do it early this year because everyone will be away for christmas.

Oh Vee, the photo of John holding that sweet little darling makes my heart go all soft and squishy. Just like Christmas! What a wonderful day! Our little grandgirlies were here today, too, and sweetness reigned.

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week and thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Yes - we do have snow - but mainly only in Victoria, the Snowy Mountains, and Tasmania. Our trip was the first time I had ever seen it!
You're getting me in the mood with this lovely mosaic Vee! How special to have a new baby in the house and a sweet little girl who loved seeing the Nutcracker!
ReplyDeleteToday is the day I start my decorating, play some Christmas music, burn some incense, gather up my Christmas coffee table books, and start making some lists :)! Thanks for the encouragement.
Perhaps. Whatever it was...your post feels most Christmassy!
ReplyDeleteIt's an awesome feeling, isn't it?! But so hard to feel when it's in the middle of summer here in New Zealand :) I still can't get used to it, even after 6 years!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet, sweet baby and little dancer! That would feel like Christmas to me too.
