Very pretty, Vee. It's nice to look back at your decor through the years. I'm afraid I'm one of those gals that doesn't change things up very much. Nice to see your pretties displayed so lovely. ♥
Oh, I really like all these vignettes!! I must have a window frame like that around here. That looks so pretty. I've been so unmotivated to decorate this year.
Beautiful, Vee! I don't seem to have a lot of imagination or creativity in my decorating this year. Too much energy going elsewhere, I suppose. I have a tall glass candy dish (guess that's what it is, right, the one with the tree in it?) somewhere that I never use. Not as nice as yours, but I bet it would look nice enough with a tree in it. I'll have to hunt that up. I love the light and sparkle in your displays!
Love the old window frame. We have a couple old window frames that we've come across. Ken is doing something with one on the cabin and I'm going to put one in the house somewhere.
Love all of them and love seeing the changes from year to year. What a great idea! I finally got my big tree brought up from the basement and I'm ready to start decorating both trees.
Beautiful as always. I have been looking for an old window frame to work with. Been to a couple of consignment shops, have not found it but got a tip on where to go. Got my house cleaned yesterday so now I will decorate.
So, you're sharing with us pictures of the same place in your house, each picture taken year after year. How clever. What a neat idea. I love your walls! You have a neat house!
This was really lovely! I really enjoyed seeing how you decorated for the different years. What a fun thing to do! I never would have thought about handing teacups either. Pretty! Thank you for the inspiration.
I really enjoyed your website and would have left a comment if I could have figured it out! Thank you for the link in post about classic Children's Books. Very helpful!
I love all the twinkle lights...they make me feel happy deep down. Love those bare branches from last year. I may try to do that and see how it looks. Holiday hugs, Diane
It's fun to change things up from year to year. What's even better is having a record of doing it! Love how the looks change over time. Hope you enjoyed your Christmas tours.
They are all delightful vignettes, but I think I'm drawn to the 2014 with the snowman painting in the background. I love the golden light and then that spot of red of the fellow's coat.
I like to do that too...go back and look at prior years' decorating vignettes. You apparently have more imagination than I do, because mine often look the same!
I hope you'll keep the links to the tours in your sidebar for a while. I hope to come back and take a look around...
It's nice to see the different changes you've made in your display each year and I think they are all beautiful in their own way. It's fun to change it up isn't it.
All very pretty but 2015 is my favorite as I like the blue and white Delft looking china and painting.
Thank you for your prayers on my part one eye surgery=all went well and I can see remarkably well for an eye that was legally blind a year ago! Now I am happy to wait fr part 2 and to finally have good vision. I am blessed to ahve a good doctor and surgeon.
ooooooooooooooooo so pretty....I like all them, Vee. Thanks for the smiles. Blessings

I like to see these kinds of photos! One spot over different years! I have been trying to get to some blog tours, I've done a little bit.
ReplyDeleteI need to kick into high gear on organizing the bedrooms here at the cottage. We have guests coming!

So lovely to see how you have done so many different pretty things from year to year! xx
ReplyDeleteMy word is beautiful, for all the years!

They're all great, Vee! I personally like 2012 with that beautiful red-trimmed platter.
