My Colors

Mosaic Monday! I promised
Maggie the new hostess of Mosaic Monday at Normandy Life
that I would join in one day. Today is that day.

These are my colors. Love them! Couldn't resist purchasing the bouquet at the farmer's market the other day. Yellows, corals, oranges, russets, cream, and no pink anywhere.

Oops...pink toes don't count.

The yellow miniature rose that John gave me last summer, came back this. I can not tell you how much this pleases me.

The superbells have not been happy in the heat, but are making a comeback now that the temps have moderated.

Thank you for indulging me! Hope to do lots of visiting later today...

  3. Lovely flowers Vee, lovely fall colors. Fall is my favorite time of year. My mum left a mum on my doorstep Saturday, similar colors to your flowers. So happy to see your yellow rose bloomed. Looks like a cool, cloudy day on the coast of Maine. ~ Love Abby

  4. I love these warm, autumn colors in your bouquet. What a blessing to enjoy a bloom from John's mini yellow rose bush. Could you dry the bloom when it is finished and add the petals to potpourri? Wishing you a pleasant Monday, Vee.

  5. Ah zinnias, nothing like a big bouquet, and they ALWAYS come in our favorite colors :) My million bell hanging baskets are beyond saving at this point. As much as I hate discarding them, dead hanging baskets just aren't pretty :( Time to look for something to replace them. Hope you have a great week!

She grew all sorts as well as all colors and I must remember to have some of them next year. And how wonderful that John's yellow miniature rose is back and blooming for you. I am so happy that you decided to share all this burst of beauty and energy on your blog today! Have a good week!

  35. A beautiful bouquet, Vee...I have a mini yellow rose bush from a friend and wondered if I could plant it outside. I thought I might put it in the greenhouse for this winter, give it a chance to grow a bit and plant it outside in the spring.Oh, and I luv your pink toe nails.

    1. My miniature rose lives in a pot and comes inside when the weather gets colder. I think your rose would enjoy the greenhouse.

  36. The bright flowers are absolutely gorgeous, Vee. I have to get to the Farmer's Market, I've neglected it for so long. They have the best apples and pears so I won't miss it in September.

The roses are so pretty and precious for you, I'm sure. Yellow roses signify joy...I hope that's what you feel every time you look at this bush!

  37. Hi Vee. Thanks for visiting the Garden Spot. I love the zinnias. The colors are so vivid. They are a wonderful flower. I have planted three miniature supermarket mini roses and they come up every year and bloom their hearts out. Yours is so pretty with that green scent, a soft creamy yellow is so pretty.
