My Colors
Mosaic Monday! I promised
Maggie the new hostess of Mosaic Monday at Normandy Life
that I would join in one day. Today is that day.
These are my colors. Love them! Couldn't resist purchasing the bouquet at the farmer's market the other day. Yellows, corals, oranges, russets, cream, and no pink anywhere.
Oops...pink toes don't count.
The yellow miniature rose that John gave me last summer, came back this. I can not tell you how much this pleases me.
The superbells have not been happy in the heat, but are making a comeback now that the temps have moderated.
Thank you for indulging me! Hope to do lots of visiting later today...
Beautiful, Vee, including the toes (mine are red, white and blue-Patriotic, lol)---have a lovely day, friend. smiles
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to MM, Vee and thanks for bringing such a fabulous set of flower mosaics with you to share. Hope your week is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers Vee, lovely fall colors. Fall is my favorite time of year. My mum left a mum on my doorstep Saturday, similar colors to your flowers. So happy to see your yellow rose bloomed. Looks like a cool, cloudy day on the coast of Maine. ~ Love Abby
ReplyDeleteI love these warm, autumn colors in your bouquet. What a blessing to enjoy a bloom from John's mini yellow rose bush. Could you dry the bloom when it is finished and add the petals to potpourri? Wishing you a pleasant Monday, Vee.
ReplyDeleteAh zinnias, nothing like a big bouquet, and they ALWAYS come in our favorite colors :) My million bell hanging baskets are beyond saving at this point. As much as I hate discarding them, dead hanging baskets just aren't pretty :( Time to look for something to replace them. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHello Vee, it is so nice to see a post from you. Your flowers and colors are just beautiful. Pretty mosaics! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI like your colors Vee. They also look fall-ish which is nice, to help us remember cooler air will come. How very lovely that the miniature rose came back this summer. God is faithful and reminds us in small and big ways.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors! Are those pink toenails I see in the one photo? I'm so glad the temperatures have moderated, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteAutumn is on its way!
Simply beautiful! And I love the pretty crocheted pieces peeking out here and there in the photos. They go so nicely with your colorful flowers. What a wonderful blessing that the miniature yellow rose came back. Beautiful reminder of John's love and of God's faithfulness.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful combination of colors. There is just something so cheerful about zinnias. Love how John's gift to you just keeps on giving.
ReplyDeleteMy million bells are hanging on by a thread. I'm so ready to refresh the pots for fall.
Zinnias! One of my favorite flowers -- I think of my Granny overtime I see them. Lovely fall colors and I'm so ready for fall. The rose -- a beautiful gift from John -- that brings sweet memories. Chiming super-bells!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Monday.
ReplyDeleteLove those beautiful summery colors...and the pink toes of course! Hope you have a good week. Sweet hugs...and lots of them...Diane
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely color photographs! Orange was my husband's favorite color and one that I love as well and zinnias were amazing flowers in my grandmother's garden. She grew all sorts as well as all colors and I must remember to have some of them next year. And how wonderful that John's yellow miniature rose is back and blooming for you. I am so happy that you decided to share all this burst of beauty and energy on your blog today! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteThe thought of John's rose blooming so beautifully touched my heart. What a sweet gift! Your colours are gorgeous, Vee. They are the colours of late summer and early fall and they really wake up a room!.....the little ball of yellow yarn was a pretty addition.

LOVE LOVE LOVE those colors too! But I especially love that John's rose bush is blooming. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful bouquet, Vee...I have a mini yellow rose bush from a friend and wondered if I could plant it outside. I thought I might put it in the greenhouse for this winter, give it a chance to grow a bit and plant it outside in the spring.Oh, and I luv your pink toe nails.
ReplyDeleteMy miniature rose lives in a pot and comes inside when the weather gets colder. I think your rose would enjoy the greenhouse.
DeleteThe bright flowers are absolutely gorgeous, Vee. I have to get to the Farmer's Market, I've neglected it for so long. They have the best apples and pears so I won't miss it in September.
ReplyDeleteThe roses are so pretty and precious for you, I'm sure. Yellow roses signify joy...I hope that's what you feel every time you look at this bush!
Jane
Hi Vee. Thanks for visiting the Garden Spot. I love the zinnias. The colors are so vivid. They are a wonderful flower.
