A Blast from the Past
Just remembering the good old Note Card Days when I used to play with my photos. Thanks to Debby for teaching me the last technique. I saw a photo she had done that was truly inspired and wondered how she'd achieved it. You can find it *here* on this week's Hodge Podge post.
I have so much to chat with you about, but I can't for legal reasons. Oh well...some fine day when it's all over... If it is ever all over.
Have a delightful day today. Mine is supposed to hit 90°F. I hate to complain, but it's a good thing that this is being written early or you'd probably hear moaning. ☺
This comes to mind: "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!" {{{giggling}}}---at some point and time, Vee, common sense has to prevail, I will keep the Faith, Hope, and Prayers my friend.
ReplyDeleteIt's suppose to be over 90 here today, too. And, I have to get out in it. Pooh. I do love my AC.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Vee. These photos are so pretty. All the best to you.
ReplyDeleteHappy to remember the good old note card days with you. These would make a lovely set. I love the way you "played" with that last photo. Must head over and learn Debby's method for achieving such beauty.
ReplyDelete90 in Maine? Yikes, that's a tad warmer than we are expecting.
Sigh . . . I am hearing your tiredness in dealing with all the stuff. Praying it will be over sooner rather than later.
ReplyDelete90° is definitely not my cup of tea. That I would like later rather than sooner!
YAY...you did it! It sure made that yellow petunia pop, didn't it? Ah yes...I miss your Note Card Party days, in fact I was just thinking of them this morning. We have had a couple of 90 degree days this week but is supposed to be back down to the high 70s this weekend. That's where it can stay if you ask me, but it wont. Sure hope that other "stuff" gets resolved soon.
ReplyDeleteHey, Sure hope you get all that needs to be resoved done quickly! Enjoy your day and every season, try not to allow anyone to steal your joy!
ReplyDeleteLoved the flowers pics...
Hugs, Roxy
Beautiful photos and that last one amazing! Hope your legal issues go away soon!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. I hope the legal issues get resolved sooner rather than later. Those note card parties were fun, Vee. Happy memories.
ReplyDelete90 degrees! Wow! We're barely creeping up to 20C (68F) this weekend, and will think we're in a heat wave. Wednesday was the coldest high temperature ever recorded here. It's been chilly!
You're expecting 90* today?!!! and we've got 6 inches of snow outside (still coming down hard, too). I pray the legal matters come out right for you. We don't need the specifics because we know the Lord is looking out for you. He knows it all!! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Linda's words...Off with their heads! YEP....LOL! I remember the note cards days too! I couldn't always participate but when I had the chance it was fun. Happy Day Dear Vee. Hugs and blessings,Cindy
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm with ya on the heat! GRRRRRRRRR...........
Prayers for all the 'issues.' Your photos are lovely and I really miss the Note Card Party! Let's do it again!
ReplyDeleteWe are 90 also! But its heading back down to a season upper 60's - mid 70's this weekend! Thankfully!
Wow, 90 degrees is quite hot for you so early. What pretty lilacs you have featured along with the pretty petunias. I will have to check out how you achieved the yellow petunia with the black and white background. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI do hope your legal issues will be resolved sooner not later, my friend. ♥
90 degrees! How did that happen? We might hit the high 70's when we travel to the eastern part of our state the next few days. Oh man...legal told you not to chat. Oye! Hope it all washes out well with legal...
ReplyDeleteVee, I love flower pictures so much. It's too hot too soon here also. I don't remember sweating in May. LOL We will get rain this evening and the rest of the weekend...then it will be in the 60's ...which is more like it for May. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteHi Vee~
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! Note cards are a great idea for photos that otherwise get stuck somewhere in the deep dark depths of my computer... :0) I love the beautiful purple lilacs! Mine are in bloom, but not as pretty as last year.
Good luck with your legal issues...I'm a retired legal secretary and can sympathize with you 100%!
Hugs,
Barb
Yes, I remember the note cards. I enjoyed that.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a hot day. We were 82 today with a nice cool breeze. It was lovely.
Rats about the legal issues -- hope they will be resolved sooner than later. // Those note card parties were a lot of fun. // Not anywhere near 90 degrees, I'm grateful to say. Here in Alberta we're around 20C (68F) the last day or so. But the thrilling thing is that most everything has finally burst into green. Loving that.
ReplyDeleteHope you can stay cool...
Brenda
Just this week I was looking for something on my blog and came across some of the notecard posts. I really loved doing those!
ReplyDeleteI saw that effect on Debby's blog and love it. She must be a good teacher ... you did a beautiful job. 90 in NH today too! Praying for you ...
ReplyDeleteI love your photos and especially your new header! I've been having problems with PicMonkey and also for several days I couldn't get into B.logger or Goggledy. :) I think that new page for signing in was not working for me then, but all seems to be well now. If only I could get PM to straighten up now!
ReplyDeleteI will pray that your legal matters get resolved quickly. Hang in there!
I love these pics! I think I remember the notecard party but I don't think I was ever confident to join.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well on the legal front...
Have a great weekend, my friend.

Oh dear, it sounds as if you are embroiled in some legal intrigue. Prayers that it all works out.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty pics, Vee! I saw Debby's photo, too, of the flowers in the mirror. I'm glad that you learned how to do it. Best of luck with the legal issues, and happy weekend to you.
ReplyDeleteOh- I remember there was a postcard/card party back when I first started blogging. I guess that is no longer around? Those are gorgeous photos! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWe had mid 80s yesterday and the day before resulting in a severe thunderstorm warning. Today back to normal in the low 50s.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see Debby's instructions on how to colour just a flower so I'll have to ask her.
Legal issues are not fun for any reason. I wish for you wise, informed decisions and the least amount of stress possible.
It was 91 here today and so nice. We've had horrible winds all spring but today it was pretty still for the most part.
ReplyDeleteOf all the link parties, I enjoyed the Note Card Party the most, I think.
Your photos are lovely....
Lovely blooms. Did it hit 90°? We are supposed to get that next week. I'm looking forward to some heat. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well.
ReplyDeleteMerle.......
