Fun in the Snow~ Video (not the best quality as it was uploaded to Google docs...couldn't get it uploaded any other way.)
This video is dedicated to
Lorrie who loves to encourage me to get out and enjoy winter. The little video cracks me up. Nothing like being highly amused by one's own antics. Anyway, if, when you hear the sounds of prancing reindeer hooves, you aren't laughing as well, just let me know. (I do consider myself rather lightfooted, but this is ridiculous!)
What FUN! Haha! Things look the same here in my neck of the woods. Bless you for getting out in it. I just stay put. I'm such a party-pooper!
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny! I love hearing your voice. So glad you had fun in the snow.
ReplyDeleteWe only have about four inches but we keep having to move it again and again as the winds are blowing it back into our driveway over and over.
I say, "we", but I really mean "he".
You know how that goes....
We've only had an inch so far, so that looks like a lot of snow to me. Surely it was more than 6 inches!
ReplyDeleteI did laugh, but next time I think we'll need to see a snowman/woman or snow angels to be convinced that you know how to have fun in the snow. ;-)
Margaret
Loved the video! You are a brave woman. I was too chicken to get bundled up and go out today. BTW, Vee, what did you have on your feet? Thanks for the chuckle! (Oh, and glad you enjoyed my soup recipe!) ~Cheryl
ReplyDeleteHa! I know! Don't I sound just like Mr. Tumnus in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe? Too funny. Oh, the answer to your question is just a very magical pair of Uggs.
ReplyDeleteVee,
ReplyDeleteI am not so sure trudging through and then whacking a lump of snow off the rail is exactly fun, I thought I was going to see you make a snow angel! Loved hearing your voice, so nice.
Both Tim and I are laughing. See, you can have fun in the snow. Okay, at least it's a start!
ReplyDeleteAnd it did sound like dainty reindeer footsteps clattering away!
What fun Vee!! You are a real adventurist!! Next we need you to scope out some deer to video for us... do you ever see any in your backyard?? It's cold & snowy here in Ohio. Supposed to get more this weekend! I'll be all snuggy in front of the fireplace for sure.
ReplyDeleteBig warm hugs!! Sherry
Miss Sandy and I think alike. I was about to start my comment with..."HELLO???? Where is the snow angel?" I was expecting you to plonk the camera down and to throw yourself into the snow with abandon. Hmmm. Maybe tomorrow????That would do nicely. In the 7 or 8 inches of snow by then, of course!
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful!! You have trees which makes it that much prettier. It was great to hear your voice. Thanks for making the video and, yes, I definitely heard the reindeer hooves (Uggs).
ReplyDeleteToo funny and so creative. Well since we don't see snow much, and never that much, I did bundle up and went out and had a snow ball fight with my five year old and made a snow angel...enjoy staying warm indoors and hand sewing...I am sure that is what I would be doing with that much snow.
ReplyDelete-clapping hands- Grrrreat!!! With sound even! Oh you are so techy!
ReplyDeletePlus, you kept it [phone cam ?] very steady, for a newbie. Very steady. Even going down the steps. Now that is super. Those jerky videos make me stomach-sick. -giggles-
OK! She has regaled us, with her vid of "Fun In The Snow"! A whole new world has opened for us, of "A Haven For Vee"! She can now take us on little walk-around's of her sweet home and..... Well, the possibilities are endless!!!
[Vee is now composing a highly irritated e-mail to Lorrie, who talked her into doing this!!! 'Cause Vee *just knew* that some one of her Dear Readers, would grab onto this, and runnnnnnnnnnn with it!]
So "Auntie" is now....Ducking, running and hiding.
>,-)
Linds, the size of the snow angel I might make could be confused by satellites with a growing arsenal in the Northeast. We couldn't have that now, could we?
ReplyDeleteLovely video! Really, I mean it....loved hearing your voice also!
ReplyDeleteI just loved looooved this, I finally have a voice to those beautiful thoughts you share. And how right if one ever falls on certain stairs they are very careful when going down again, as I did ten years ago with ours. When coming down, even now I can still hear them laughing.
ReplyDeleteYour scenery is beautiful!! Enjoy your day and stay warm, we are finally thawing out, and the snow is melting. Yea!!
Hugs, Sue
It was so nice to hear your voice again! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt sounded like you were riding a horse! Lots of the white stuff there and it all looks so pretty.
You should have thrown yourself down on the ground and made a snow angel. :-)
Vee,
ReplyDeleteYou are forever cracking me up. I loved the video, and you are right it does sound like you are walking with a reindeer. So cute, I stopped by to see how much snow you had.
Karen
I like this video idea...could be called "Daily Walks with Vee" It is amazing what amuses us all, but you definitely do! I am impressed you figured out how to do it and post it on here. Way beyond my skills.
ReplyDeleteHope your staying warm and cosy!!!
I think with that much snow you should have built a snowman. Now that is how to have fun in the snow.
ReplyDeleteWell that was fun Vee. Felt like I was walking there with you. It was even more fun to hear your voice.
ReplyDeleteVoices are always different to what we imagine. Like seeing a bloggers photo for the first time.
Now before I forget!! Did you really think I had baked all those cakes in one sitting!! Dream on!!
You sure do know how to have fun! I was laughing my socks off! I have to say though, watching that tree blow was so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt was cool hearing your voice!
