Aaah, summer — that long anticipated stretch of lazy, lingering days, free of responsibility and rife with possibility. It's a time to hunt for insects, master handstands, practice swimming strokes, conquer trees, explore nooks and crannies, and make new friends.

Such sweet summer images of the wee fisherman, Vee. And I was just thinking about you, thinking I should coax you into starting up some Downton Discussion again. Are you really expecting that we can wait until next January? You could just make it a weekly free-for-all. Oh well, I figured it was worth a try. :-) Have a lovely summer day!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your sweet summer glimpses! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see that your grands are among the kids who enjoy the outdoors Vee. I can't help but notice how few children I see playing outside anymore. It's a lost art. They are lucky children to have that fun time outside!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect collage! It does depict an idyllic summer afternoon. After such a long winter, it's wonderful to see green leaves and grass and flowers blooming again.
ReplyDeleteΑ gorgeous, green and grassy landscape to perfectly illustrate the the snippet for summer! Ah, to be a kid again...idyllic, indeed!
