1. leaf (rhubarb)
2. favorite color (yellow)
3. weather (and we've seen quite enough of this sort)
4. on the wall (above and below)
5. sunglasses (and favorite color... since I can't wear yellow, I have a yellow bag...)
6. dots (didn't think we had any dots; apparently, we have quite a lot)
7. water (yes, we believe in product placement around here ☺)
Good morning Vee. This sounds like fun and I like what you have to share for the first 7 days of June. We had nice warm weather but it took a dip to cooler temps for awhile, but 70F is better than what winter threw at us.
ReplyDeleteOff to a tea at the local theatre and a celebratory dinner with our garden club tonight.. Life is good.
Enjoy your weekend.
Good Morning! This is a lot of fun; thanks for telling me about this blog hop. I enjoyed your photos. I've seen a lot of rhubarb recipes on blogs lately. I've never tasted rhubarb! Hope you get more sunshine and a chance to wear those neat sunglasses. Have a nice Saturday, Vee.
ReplyDeleteAll great photos and a fun post! I don't know that blog at all. You had me with the rhubarb! lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWell that photo challenge looks easy enough!
ReplyDeleteSo have you cut any rhubarb yet, Vee? Or made any pies?
I like your Dream picture. I'm trying to decide if it was boughten
or home made!
Miss Sandy at Quill Cottage made it, thanks for wondering.
DeleteA photo a day looks like fun. You've done a fine job on the first 7 days. Stay well and busy!
ReplyDeleteI don't really understand. I've been worrying that you were ill or something. Did I miss the news that you were not blogging in June, or something?
ReplyDeleteHa! What fun. I'm with you on the yellow. I can't wear it either, but I like 'that' particular color of yellow in your bag. Hope you get some nice dry weather.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a photo of water. You make me smile!
ReplyDeleteMissed your blogging this week, so glad to see this post.
ReplyDeleteYou did very well on this challenge! I don't wear yellow but I do love it, too!
Wishing you some sunny weather for this weekend!
Deanna
Great photos for the challenge, Vee! I like your dream sign. Hoping you have some bright sunshiny days soon.
ReplyDeleteExcellent pics Vee....Love the bright pictures...so summery!
ReplyDeleteLove the leave of rhubarb picture!
ReplyDeleteGood choices for Kati's challenge. I'll participate sometime. I like photo challenges but things are topsy turvy and getting more that way around here. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think these photos tell a bit about us, or about our week/surroundings … after all, a photo is worth a 1000 words isn't it? My official favorite color is green but i love pink a lot -- and even blue. Well and aqua and on I could go. Hope your weather is improving,
ReplyDeleteAwesome..love what you posted..love your sunglasses, thanks for the smiles. Blessings (ps I can't wear yellow either.)
ReplyDeleteVee, I'm finding it really interesting how the words get interpreted by us photo bugs. I really like your on the wall photo. Glad I visited.

Nice group of photos. : )
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it is my computer or blogger but pictures are taking forever to load for me. I've tried restarting my computer but that didn't seem to help.
Those are good photos. I'm thinking about photographing more of our wildflowers around here. BTW, for some reason they take a long time to load on this site. It was worth the wait to view them though. Thanks for sharing. ~:)
ReplyDeleteA lovely look at your seven days Vee!
ReplyDeleteI'm puzzled by the dots - probably a dumb question but what is it?!
Yellow is a happy sunshiny color and I love dandelions.
Our dear neighbors invited us for dinner last night and we had creamy rice pudding with stewed rhubarb on top - sooo yummy!
The side of my PC tower. = D
DeleteHere I was looking around for dots and they were staring me right in the face.
Fun choices for your photo a day challenge. I think this is a great meme Vee and it's good to see you back in the bloggy pool. I've missed you this week! xo Pam
ReplyDeleteI think this is just neat. I am enjoying seeing these post...how creative! I especially like the frame on the wall with the word DREAM.
ReplyDeleteHello Vee, It has been a long hard week for our family! But I did want to make the time to say hello to my friends! So may you have a great rest of your weekend! I have been working with my camera and trying to get my lighting to not just be over glared!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Roxy
Such clever and interesting pictures Vee! I love the rhubarb picture of course - smile!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are joining in on the challenge! I'm having so much fun... doing my own pictures and seeing how everyone else photographs the themes.
ReplyDeleteYour dots... how clever! You have quite a few there. Hope you have a sunny weekend!
I, too, am glad to see you back at your "Haven"...you have been missed!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the challenge. (Eek! Those storm clouds look thick!) Pretty yellow bag...and I can't wear yellow either.
Great choices, Vee. This looks like an interesting photo challenge. Yes, you did find quite a few dots!
ReplyDeleteThis is fun! I think I'll jump in for next week. The Dream art on the wall is so pretty - did Sandy make it? It looks like her style. Hope the skies clear up for you soon. Although, you should have lots of selection for the Photo Challenge. I may be creating raindrops with a spray bottle around here.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you've joined Kati's challenge. I really like getting these glimpses into people's lives and environments. Yellow is a hard color for most people to wear. Accessories, though, allow for those situations ;)
ReplyDeleteAll your photos are fantastic. I really love the DREAM one. What a great piece. And dots you have the eye for it. I would still be wondering about looking for dots. Ha
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! That rhubarb looks healthy. Mine didn't come back - I have the worst luck with rhubarb (and I love eating it).
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great idea, too! My favorite of these photos is the "dots" one.
ReplyDeleteI love that dream picture! Hope you had a happy weekend:>)
ReplyDeleteWhew...between finding interesting fences for GOOD FENCE THURS and trying with all my might to link up half-way good photos for the Photo challenge, and staying up with....SUMMER...I am taking a semi blog break...I was trying to decide what my June Note Cards would be when I came over to see you and saw that the party is on hold until Sept. That's a good idea...now I can get Sept., Oct. and Nov. done before starting on December.....HOLY COW.....:)
ReplyDeleteYour grands are blessed to have Vee for their grandma....:)'
xoxo
What handsome grandsons you have!!! I LOVED 'meeting' them!! As grandparents I feel we do have a responsiblity to share our faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ with our grandchildren. I am sure the Holy Spirit will give you the wisdom and words to assure yours of God's love. Amber and Mike are going to start looking for a church home this month. When they find one Louis Dean and I are going to place membership there as well. I think it will be wonderful to be able to worship as a family together. The DREAM picture is awesome! I SO want to make one like that!!!
