The weather finally allowed us (Who am I kidding?! John did most of the work!) to finish the deck just in time for Labor Day. Wishing you and your family and friends a wonderful holiday weekend. I'll see you when the dust settles!
Hi Vee! I hope you enjoy that deck and the holiday weekend!
I'm still pretty wiped out from the weekend and the blog move. So much going on the past few weeks! I'm hoping for at least a little R&R sometime this weekend!
I hope you will join in Fall Nesting Week and help inspire me for fall. I feel like it should still be summer since I missed so much of it in wedding planning. Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way. It was a great summer.
I wish you a wonderful holiday weekend in return! The deck looks great.
Well, I did it, I pushed the send button and sent the two submissions out into cyberspace. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for the encouragement!
Lucky you to have such a handy man around. Looks like a marvelous deck; hope you have a fantastic holiday weekend. I have really enjoyed your posts about your family and especially your grandmother.
And thank you so much for giving a different view, on my last entry. THIS is what Comments can be all about... a real discussion. Real interaction.
Not just agreement.
And not just silence, if agreement isn't in the reader's mind.
A real, live discussion!!! :-) I hope other's who have differing views, will be inspired by your comment, to voice theirs too.
One way I 'shoot myself in the foot,' on this whole issue is... I KEEP finding more and more and more and more lovely blogs. And leaving a comment. And on and on and on. And so, it ends up an almost full time job, to keep up with the "Blog World" I have created for myself. {Since I have more than one blog too! Eeek!}
-sigh-
I know I'm such a over-the-top kind of person, and often, my own worst enemy.
So my personal issue is to find what really floats my ship. And then, at least try it out.
No, I'm not quitting blogging. Good grief no. I just *have to* rattle on, way too much, for that. :-) But I do, do, do have to find my Blogging Joy. So, I'm pondering it, over this holiday weekend.
We never go anyplace on such weekends so I have plenty of time to ponder. :-) We go no farther than next door for family meals. 3 of them this weekend, instead of just the usual Sun. one. :-)
And I'm planning on making that glorious Blueberry recipe you showed a few days ago! On Sun. Yesss! And take my lactose replacement med and enjoy it too! :-)
I just love visiting you Vee, I try to go back and read some of your older posts to see what I've missed out on. This holiday weekend has given me a chance to do some of that and catch up. It's such a busy canning time for me right now.
Your deck looks beautiful and I'm sure you will enjoy many happy times on it.
