Twenty-five pictures taken around the house today...
Weeded down to 20...
thirteen...
ten...
six...
three...
two
and a different two
What is your eye drawn to? Many photos or fewer photos? Do you have an exact number that you prefer or do you best tolerate between five and ten? I'm really hoping that you can help me with this. Thank you!

For some reason I liked the first one and the *6*. That's what my eye liked. Fun selections, Vee -- nice to see around your house!
ReplyDeleteVery clever post Vee. I liked six and three. Easier on my old eyes (**
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week.
Loved the first one...the only thing else regardless of number is I like when there are little borders...to separate the pics...but that is just me!!
ReplyDeleteI like 20+ pictures!
ReplyDeleteVee,
ReplyDeleteI like the 20 plus!
And I am still smiling about your
*thud* comment. It was perfect!
I loved them all..I thought it was fun to see how it changed as you eliminated pictures...I need to do some myself..especially of the Chihuly exhibit
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely details. Beautiful. Valerie
ReplyDeleteHello Vee, I really like them all. Great collection of images. Have a lovely week ahead.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting Vee...I love the different textures in the single shots. When you wheedled down the mosaic it took on a different tone each time.
ReplyDeleteI think how many appeals to me according to the subject. If it's all doors or all windows or all flowers many in a collage is good to my eye. If the subjects are different I like 2-4 images. I hope that makes sense. Fun experiment Vee!
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun way of showing how different a mosaic can look. I've been drawn to 3 photos lately...one long one with 2 square on the side. I can never make a lot work...colors and images seem to clash. But yours looks nice. I love the 'dreaming of gentle waves and sunshine days'.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were all very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love your collages! I'm going to have to try your style sometime. Really neat.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your visit and nice words.
Hope it's a great week for you!

I actually liked the first collage as it looked like a true mosaic and had a lot to look at and discover! I love your yellow conader! :)
ReplyDeletePS: To answer your question there are 400 keys to the park -- to have one you have to be a Gramercy Park resident and pay a yearly rental fee around $450. Hotel guests also have access to a key.
Three. All of them, but three at a time. It's just my quirk!
ReplyDelete3 to 6 seems to be my favorite...and I, personally, like the photos divided by a thin line of some color...white or black.
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy with that camera. :))

O, and Oil Rubbed Bronze is a color that Pottery Barn and others use a lot...mine came in a spray can...not sure if it comes any other way or not. A lot of ladies use this color to update olden handles and pulls and knobs.
My, you were busy today! LOL... I like the one with the extra space around all of the photos. I like it when my eyes can see each one by itself clearly and rest before skipping to another one.
ReplyDeleteHi Vee!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, they were all so pretty, you have such a good eye for capturing beauty! I really liked the "13", but, they were all so unique and interesting!
Hugs,
Barb
0y eyes are drawn to the 13 and 6 versions. I think this is such an interesting thing to do Vee that I might try it myself. You always have such creative blogging ideas. I've been stuck for awhile...Hopefully i can come up with something soon...
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing them all - not sure I have a favorite. Lots of great shots and different textures.
ReplyDeletepicmonkey is working again today, but did not want to take the time to redo the pictures. :D I use the editing program in photobucket also, but don't use it much anymore, because if you delete a pic from your album it removes it from your blog also.
Have a great week.
I think that I spent the most time looking at the very first one...the one with 25 pictures. Maybe I'm afraid I'm going to miss something (especially after that pot incident!), but I looked at every one.
ReplyDeleteThen the one with six got my attention...and the larger one with two.
I don't think that's much help, because I don't see a pattern in my choices.
Regardless, I love to be the proverbial fly on the wall in someone's home, so I enjoyed your selections tonight!
I liked the second mosaic, and then on down the line to the one with five photos. Lots to look at!
ReplyDeleteI actually like your very first one! Something is appealing about that to my eye,. I sometimes do one of those to sort of summarize the year. But I guess I wouldn't like it on a regular basis. All your mosaics show such artistic talent in both the taking and arranging of photos. I like the very delicate black borders. A pet peeve of mine is those mosaics that run the photos together without any line separating them. On the other hand, a personal preference is not too thick of a line. I just love the around the house photos! Just snippets of your home and life!
ReplyDeleteHmm.. very interesting! My eye is drawn to different things in each mosaic. I actually liked the one with 13 - it had such a nice pop of color with the flowers. I love all the textures!
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer to look at one picture at a time.
ReplyDeleteBut I like the 13 picture mosaic best of yours today.
I like the first one with 25 photos because it's so harmonious. It captures your style of the moment.
ReplyDeleteI'm finding that I usually prefer single photos in a post, or mosaics with just a few photos. Details are easier to see. And it's more restful. I don't like posts with more than 5 photos because they are often repeats of the same scene. Tutorials are the exception, since I like a lot of detail on those.
I like the 20 mosaic...but then, I like all of them. I guess I am easy to please. But my favorite picture is the one of your room. Your home is so warm and inviting!

Great pics, too!
I liked the first one...I want to see everything!
ReplyDeleteThen I like the one with 6 photos...
I love seeing your photos.

Beautiful photos Vee! I usually like mosaics with less photos since their bigger and I can see what's in photo. I think 6 is a good number.
ReplyDeleteVee,
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by. (at east I think it was you, because of no link). I think I like your first one and the mosaic within a mosaic 10 the best. These are some lovely photos.

#6, I always need to make mosaics in different sized photos. Groups of 4 just don't work for me. What a great exercise!
ReplyDeleteI like them all, but I try to use my 5, or 6 favorite images in one mosaic and then sometimes add in more just for fun. I have even enjoyed just using 2 and then in between adding my favorite single for the set..all is fun to try out. I apologize for being so late and yet I have arrived;')~
