Frosty Morning

Brrrrrr...

Saying goodbye to the garden...

The small azalea above seems to be doing well, but  the large one below looks upset.

Jack Frost strikes again...

Too cold, I'm going in...

Where I find Fioré cozying up to a good book. This reminds me to thank you for reading yesterday and commenting. Special thanks to Kristi, NanaDiana, and Cheryl for recommending specific books. I'm on it!

Have a great Tuesday...

  5. OH- yeah- It is full blown Fall here, too, Vee. We are in the 20's at night now-high in the 40's. However, Halloween Day is supposed to be 62 with low of 45. Can't wait. It's like God is gonna smile on those little kids just one last warm Fall day- xo Diana

  6. SUCH good pictures! And this California gal soo appreciates it when other bloggers share their frost and snow pictures....soo pretty! We did get a little rain yesterday which was nice, but the sun appears to be out and shinning again today. Suppose to be around 75! Enjoy your day Vee, and stay warm!

  7. Oh I am sorry! Saying goodbye to the garden of 2013 is not easy. I went for a walk yesterday and was amazed at how beautiful bedding plants still are. It is 4 Celsius here this morning and clear so we are not that far behind.

  9. Good morning. Your frost pictures are simply stunning. I looked and looked at that first one and then saw that there were more good ones. And thanks for the comment about your comments as I went back and read the book recs which I will write down. And lastly, are you changing your header frequently or have I just not taken it all in? That pic of the plates on the fence is so sweet -- it is just such a nice header. Maybe it's the same one your friend set up for you, but let's just say, if that's the case, that I am just admiring it all again! :-)

  12. Lovely glimpses of frost. We had a slight frost here, too, but mainly on the top of trash cans. Waiting a bit longer for the sun to warm the leaves up before I mow them. Have a lovely cozy day!

  13. Looks like the frost has found your corner of New England too~~ Your rhododendron does look a bit depressed about the change in temperature! ha ha ! Kitty has the right idea, just needs a cup of tea and the scene will be complete!
