The Results are In!
Thank you so much for participating. That was fun and my sister does have her answer. Now she must simply deal with the guilt that comes from removing tags. Good grief! Thanks for helping with that, Judy:
...what's the matter with your sister? Does she want to go to prison or something?? Everyone knows you can't remove furniture labels 'under penalty of law' - and funny, but I don't know how old I was before I realized that meant before you purchased it. But you can't be too careful these days. Big Brother IS watching!
If a clear answer was given, it was counted: no maybes, no boths, and no sometimes.

10. Do you enjoy a thunderstorm? yes 40 / no 13
dogs win!
In another point of interest (I use the phrase loosely), today has been a week since I showed the snow pile. For comparison's sake...
Have a great week!
I was hoping that you would share the results! Glad that your piles are shrinking:) We've had snow at Easter before, but piles of it would seem odd.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!
Leann
Hopefully your sister knows she's not alone! Things like that can weigh on your mind a bit. Well, at least your snow pile looks cleaner, dirty snow bothers me to no end. We had a beautiful day yesterday and I was able to open several windows and a couple doors to give the house a good airing out. It was so nice, today rain. Oh well! Hope your day is delightful!
ReplyDeleteWait a minute..you mean to tell me that chicken salad lost? (rolling giggles) I smell a set up (more giggles)--Just teasing. I figured it had something to do with the tags, lol. Thanks Vee for the smiles. Blessings
ReplyDeleteThe results were interesting and you had to do some work to compile them. I'm glad to see your snow is dwindling too, although there's still a 3 foot pile across our deck in the back.
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun Q & A. It looks like your snow is melting! Yeah!!
ReplyDeleteOh, so glad to see we're not the only ones who have dirty snow to deal with. LOL SO interesting about question #5, isn't it. Half of us would like to live somewhere else. Wow. And I'm not sharing the results of question #9 with Tuppence. She's very sensitive.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you posted this...it saved me from trying to figure it out myself, lol...things like this do make me curious. And your pile IS at least going down...YAY!
ReplyDeleteI have seen Private Ryan and I just saw Saving Mr. Banks, I know Private Ryan was good for what it was - but neither movie thrilled me! Saw About Time and God is Not Dead and those were great.
ReplyDeleteOH! I am so sorry to have missed the survey! It seems when I am gone from blogland I miss out on some pretty fun activities. I took the survey today and found that I would have been in the majority. So glad your snow is going away. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteSue
Aww I'm sorry I missed the poll, Vee, but it was interesting readin the results. It's nice to know your snow is melting. Maybe Spring is on it's way! xo
ReplyDeleteI missed the poll too! I'm a tag remover, and I see that I am not alone. On many of the other questions, I was in the minority. I really enjoyed Saving Mr. Banks: the cast and screenplay were brilliant, but how about that little Miss Annie Rose Buckley (played Ginty, the young P.L. Travers)? She had a luminous quality which captivated me. But I digress...
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you've had piles, glad they're better. Mum still has hers.
I laughed when I read question 4 because I have had this long running debate with my mother, who can't bring herself to remove the tags because they say "do not remove under penalty of law!" I've told her since I was a kind that it also says "except by the consumer. That's you!" I always asked "What do you think will happen if you remove it? An alarm that goes off and alerts the police, who will come and arrest you?" hee hee hee! Oh my! Isn't it funny how we are all such rule followers that we feel guilty if we take a tag off of something we own!
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun post! I liked reading the results too!
Deanna
Fun little poll, Vee! Love reading the results, too. A LOT of our snow melted yesterday. Our back yard is almost bare except for the drifts. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI thought your survey showed that we are all so much alike, really. I was surprised at how many of us like a thunderstorm. We are having a few today and I am delighted that I get to stay home all day for the show.
ReplyDeleteWe watched Saving Mr. Banks last night. I loved it! It was such a tender story and Emma Thompson's performance was stellar. (I shouldn't have read the Wikipedia article about the accuracy of the story. Sigh...)
ReplyDeleteYour comparison photos are encouraging! Much less snow! Spring is coming...even in Maine!
It was actually more accurate than I thought it would be!
DeleteThat snow pile is looking good, Vee!
ReplyDeleteI see I fell into the majority on your survey.
I was surprised at how many ladies wanted to live somewhere else,
I thought I was the only rambler!
Thnaks, it was fun.
I'm sorry that I missed Saturday's questionnaire, but have enjoyed reading the results. The boys had so much fun with the luge track this winter, I imagine that's the first thing they think of next winter.
ReplyDeleteFun to read the survey results. But I'm thinking (unless I missed something) that we didn't get YOUR answers on the survey.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see the snow pile dwindle.

Dear Vee, You tell your sister, we enjoyed being asked these questions and all because of HER, You know a little bit more about each of us!! Very cold here today, loved your Sunday post! And I also like the idea of closing the comments. Blessings today and always, Roxy
ReplyDeleteLots of fun Vee. Thanks for the smiles!
ReplyDeleteWell, we enjoyed the tally of results... and especially Judy's comments on #4.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Vee!
I must have missed that post with all of the questions...sounds like fun! Your snow pile is dwindling for sure! It is raining cats & dogs here and we are having flash flooding....hope it doesn't come too far up north...you don't need this rain to mix with all of that melting snow!!
ReplyDeleteGood for Lorrie catching YOUR answers! This was a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteGlad your snow is melting!
When I read the results I realized I had answered incorrectly on #6. I forgot that I have vacationed in Canada.
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Carol
Carol, Carol, Carol... There's one in every crowd! Now you've gone and skewed it! LOL!
DeleteI am so glad you shared the responses! It was fun to answer these questions. xo
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun pole and I'm glad you told us the answers. : )
ReplyDeleteThat was a great participation to your questions Vee. Interesting to read the response numbers too. Wow, your snow sure did go down in a week. I'm doing before pictures today and after ones after the big rains come tomorrow. Hopefully we won't have water where we don't want it! Spring weather is finally here!
ReplyDeleteI'm cracking up that Carol forgot Canada is another country, but I totally understand. They seem almost like part of the family don't they?
ReplyDeleteIn my case, they are!
DeleteYes, that was fun! I'm glad to see your snow pile is going down. Ours is gone. I think it's safe to say any future precipitation will be in the form of rain. (Did I just jinx myself?)
ReplyDeleteI'm new here and really like your blog! The header is great and I will be looking around...
ReplyDeleteGlad to see your snow pile decreasing! It's hard to remember that not everyone is seeing spring blooms even though it's officially spring. It was fun reading the answers!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you shared the poll results. Guess I messed up by answering "always" to one of the answers. Wasn't thinking. But speaking of thunderstorms, there's a big time hail/wind storm bearing down on us right now in Southeast Georgia. Hope it treads gently on my newly sprouted veggie garden. I'm really looked forward to fresh Ford Hook Lima's. [drool] God bless. ~:)
ReplyDeleteHi Vee...I was able to catch up with your post from yesterday on my blog feed. What a great post it was...thank you :)
ReplyDeleteDang! I missed out!
ReplyDeleteOh well, I was in the majority for most of the questions, with a Vehement preference for cats over dogs.
We're all in good company!
I loved reading the tallies and laughed out loud at Judy's comment. Yay for the melting snow!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm late to your questionaire party--wah! We had the grandsons sleeping over a few days, so my son and DIL could do lots of chores in their new home. The boys were very good, but so full of energy that V and I were exhausted--lol! They wanted to sleep over again next weekend--lol--we said maybe next month!
ReplyDeleteI was in the majority of all your questions too, Vee, except for the cat/dogs one--I do love my "grand dogs" but cats are my personal favorite.
I should have mentioned that my usual exercise is walking in the water in the current channel at the Nat. Is that hiking or swimming? Your questions are lots of fun, Vee!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I voted with the majority on everything (though one was technically a tie). As one who proudly owns over two dozen pairs of scissors, there is no safe tag in our household, LOL. Clip, clip - gone!
ReplyDeleteBeen out all day and how nice to relax and read your post this evening. Ha! Funny about the tags...
ReplyDeleteThe results were interesting, and it was nice to know that I'm apparently pretty normal.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm glad to see the pile slowing getting smaller. I remember one year growing up when my sister and I tried to bring hot water outside in our (glass) milk jars to melt the snow. We were so sick of it. I'm sure you feel the same way this year. What a winter!!
I'm so behind here but I had lots of fun reading the results of the poll you took.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter in law does not remove tags.. it is a standing joke around here.
I enjoyed reading the quiz results. I see your snow pile is going down.
