Corrie ten Boom Quote

Once had the privilege of hearing Corrie ten Boom speak. I remember reading The Hiding Place for the first time at the lake one summer. Sometimes, I would read aloud to my family and we'd all be struck by her words and often her father's gentle wisdom. I have used those thoughts many times in my life.

This is one that floated to me on a Pinterest wave and then promptly became corrupted. This is my attempt to replace it with something that won't be destroyed.

Worrying is carrying tomorrow's load with today's strength — carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn't empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.
