Do you suppose that it means anything if I am still happy to use Photoscape for my mosaics? I think it does, but we won't delve into that today. I just had to spring up the top of the china cabinet this weekend. A little cheer never hurts. I used as much shiny stuff as I could find and though the daffodils dried up I decided to use them anyway — they're still yellow!
Seems as if there's an impromptu party planned at my haven today and I'm hosting. I promise to catch up!
Blessings this week...
It definitely looks like spring inside your house! Pretty, pretty!
ReplyDeleteLots of wonderful color, bright and sparkly. Spring is coming ... really!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI do see spring in the air...and it makes me happy! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI see little green shoots coming out of the ground here...I think they are Narcissus, the smaller type of daffodil. I won't know until they actually blossom. In the meanwhile we had snow flurries overnight.
ReplyDeleteI love your mosaic. It has so many interesting colors. Happy Spring.
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaic.
ReplyDeleteI like photoscape too.
Have a good week.
Fiona
In my neck of the woods, we are snow-covered, and a Cosmic Baker is still "sifting Powdered Sugar" down. Oh and the sun keeps trying to peek out. If I consider this weather for too long, I may get "discombobulated". So I will not consider. ,-)
ReplyDeleteSince I love the photo of the more clear swan head, I guess I like the less busy mosaic, since "it" shows the pretty swan head, in a larger way.
Have fun, at your Impromptu Gathering!!!!!!
Here, I am trying to get a new Blog Look. Trrrrrrrying. *&%^&%#$^**& And I'm now just-about-"tried"-out! -grin-
I love the spring colors. beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSweet mosaics, have fun at your impromptu party! It's just above freezing here today, partly sunny, not very springlike today. xo
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful, cheerful images, Vee. They make me smile!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Beautiful mosaics Vee. I like them both and all the photos that make them up. You have such a great flair for decorating your home! Lovely and springy. Enjoy your party and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteLove this touch of Spring Vee! Still well below freezing here but the sun is shining and the woodstove is heating! Spring must be on the way!? Have a fun Sunday impromptu partay - the best kind!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and refreshing post! LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteLove your springy cabinet top! Have fun at your party today! :)
ReplyDeleteNow I have a good excuse to change the items on the buffet to something more Spring-like. I forgot March 1st is the beginning of meterological Spring!
ReplyDeleteI've just had to put word verification on my comments. I hate to do it as I have trouble sorting it out on other blogs even with my glasses on. I've always had spam but a couple months ago I started getting hit with hundreds (and hundreds) of hits each week. Blogger used to be able to catch most of them but now I have dozens each day that I have to sort through to find the real comments.
Wanted to warn you as I know you dislike word verification as much as I do.
Happy Sunday, Vee! Oh yes! I'm lovin' your "springing up" your cabinet there. I'm so ready for spring!!! and springing up! Sometimes, it's just a frame of mind. Our week here is looking like spring (after a coupla cold ones) and I think I can safely plant the rest of my garden another week or two. YEA!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun immpromptu party!
Nicely spring like! It will come, you know, some day. I have to look into photo scape as I think your mosaics are quite nice,
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet spring mosaics. Happy Monday, Happy week~
ReplyDeleteYour photos are so cheery and Springy. You are creative when it comes to decorating, it looks lovely. I am so ready for Spring. Have a happy day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHa ha Vee, you springified and I feathered! LOL Same thing, and it felt good didn't it? I must make a bunting, they're trendy right now and I like yours.
ReplyDeleteJudith
Pretty! PRETTY photos!! I love both mosaics! The glass looks especially nice. Love how you do that!
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic does say spring. Yeah. Valerie
ReplyDeleteLook at all of your pretty Spring colors and I love your pretty banner. I wonder if I could make one. It would be a nice start to my decorating. I think I'll bring out some Spring things tomorrow! Happy Monday! (I hope you had a nice day and a fun party!)
ReplyDeleteLooks like spring has arrived at your house. Have a wonderful week:)
ReplyDeleteI use my flowers when they dry up, too,,Vee...and yours are still so colorful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring mosaic, Vee. I can't wait to see some spring flowers here and in order to do so, I think I'll have to go buy them. We still have much snow covering the landscape. Have a happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful Vee, but I am loving your bunting. A am a bunting-aholic, you know. Your Spring is so lovely and your mosaics are too.
ReplyDeleteKaren
Ooooo...your mosaic is sooooo bright and cheerful! I am a big fan of the "meteorological" seasons. I am always eager for the next season to begin, summer being the notable exception. I think spring begins on March 1. (It didn't feel very spring-y here today...cloudy skies and a cold wind blew all day.)
ReplyDeleteLove your banner!
Beautiful collages showing. Wish you a good day :) Hanne Bente
ReplyDeleteMarch is the Southwest's favorite month. It's been a bit too cold, but the citrus blossoms should be shouting out their wonderful scent soon. I can wake up to that smell for a couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteI like your mosaic with the rounded corners but they both look nice and springy. Have a lovely Monday Vee.
ReplyDelete~Clara
Everything looks so beautiful and yes, very spring-like in your house...even if the weathermen are predicting snow here this week. Thank you for your comments on my blog!
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic decor and photography certainly bring Spring to me ~ very creative! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI think they are both wonderful, and that's because the individual little spring inspirations in them are so cheerful. I am so anxious to get this mess cleared up and decorate for spring before it's summer.
ReplyDeleteI like both mosaics. The second one brings us in for a closer view. I am sure your cabinet top decorating has brightened up your day.
ReplyDeleteWe here are now into autumn, although it has still be hot, the slightly cooler morning promises that cooler weather is on the way.
Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Good morning, Vee,
ReplyDeleteYour mosaics are delightful. I like your swag. Add decorative touches is sure to bring sunshine into your day. As I look out the window this morning I am seeing deep frost on the rooftops. Spring seems far away at the moment. It won't be long, though, until the daffodils will peek through the softened soil.
Have a great day and thanks so much for your kind comment.
Blessings,
Carolynn
ps....I read your profile and can see you and I have similar taste in movies...I absolutely love "A Christmas Story".
Love both your mosaics they are so pretty , here in Cornwall England its a beautiful sunny day and spring flowers are everywhere, Thank you for visiting my blog
ReplyDeleteLovely! I can't wait for our daffodils to come up! ^-^
ReplyDeleteI love it. Light, airy and uplifting. Perfect to lift one out of the doldrums. ~ Abby
ReplyDeleteVery pretty touches of spring! With the longer days, everything is looking brighter and your decor matches perfectly.
ReplyDeleteHope the impromptu gathering was a lot of fun!
We have lurched into Spring here too. I can't wait to get a little warmth into the old bones, and to be able to go and plant Stuff. And tomorrow may well be 15C so I live in hope!
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is beautiful - both of them. You've created spring inside and I hope it's beginning to look that way outdoors, too.
ReplyDeleteYellow and blue are so pretty together. I'm always reminded of French Country decorating and how those colors seem to bring (me) a feeling of cheerfulness.
Love your nice springy mosaic - both of them.
ReplyDeleteHi Vee!
ReplyDeleteLove the mosaic! I love Daffodils - wilted or not, they just say, "Spring"!! I think we all need a break from Old Man Winter, and your blog was just what I needed today! Love the colors, and all the shiny glass!
Hugs,
Barb
Hey I am with you on wanting spring to rush in, I even have some wilted daffodils hanging around my house too ;c)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite photo is the one of the blue glass bottle with sprigs of greenery and the glass swan's head, beautiful.
Hope your party was a success!
Vee, I love both! Your dried up Daffodils made me smile. I would have thrown them out and you know what? They worked. Love your sweet banner. Felt like Spring here (finally) today. I even worked out in the garden a bit.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Good Morning Sweet Friend
ReplyDeleteI've never used Photoscape. Is it easier than Picmonkey? I loved the addition of the spring banner. I think that I liked the busier mosiac - more details fr me to examine:)
Enjoy your week!
Leann
Much easier for me because everything I need is already on my computer without going to a third site. Picmonkey has been becoming more pic-ky so it doesn't have anything to offer over Photoscape. It used to, though.
DeleteLovely...your spring mosaics! Who would ever know that there is snow outside your window? You have it looking mighty springy indoors.
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty banner and your daffodils...very spring like and cheerful!
ReplyDeleteLove your bunting Vee - it really 'Springifies' your room beautifully!
ReplyDeleteIt won't be long now and your snow will be gone and replace by lovely Spring flowers!
Shane ♥
