Busy Week
A couple of points of business:
1. The Note Card Party will be up tomorrow afternoon between 2 and 2:30
(It runs all day Wednesday without my adding any other posts to interfere.)
2. This week's Downton Abbey Discussion will be Thursday.
It's a busy week. It even started off busy.
~Roofs Needed Shoveling~
~Grands Graduated to the Really Big Hill~
Speaking of grands, they're mine all week. I'll be keeping up as time allows!
That is a huge hill. I like all the shadows in your snow scenes. I remember when we had to shovel off roofs. I mentioned our porch roof to my husband but he insisted it would melt. Even with warmer temperatures I am amazing at how slowly all this snow is melting,
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a Really Big Hill. Your grands are brave little guys and I know that you will be busy. Just keeping up with all of those wet snow clothes is enough to keep you hopping.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time together.
Big hill! and yep, your week promises to be busy! ENJOY!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the grands! I'll be back, hopefully, for the Notecard Party, and of course for the Downton Abbey discussion. :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a HUGE hill!
ReplyDeleteHey, they could have held the downhill Olympic events on that hill!!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun week with the kids - I feel the following week you'll require a vacation Vee.
Downton last night - wow! Just getting better and better in every way. Looking forward to your Thurs. discussion and can hardly wait for next Sun., it's so addictive!
Hugs - Mary
Enjoy the G'children!
ReplyDeleteYou have a fun week ahead! Well....except the part about shoveling snow off the roof! Take care and enjoy the kids! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeletePS I mentioned some of your events in my post this morning! It's a BUSY week ahead! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteYour snowy hill is amazing!! As a girl from the flatlands, I can hardly imagine sledding down that hill, but I'll bet it's thrilling! The boys are sure to have a blast!
Our week is crazy-busy too. I don't really care for crazy-busy, but some weeks are like that. I just pray to be doing the best with the time I have.
I'll see you here and there...
When I was young I think I can remember my brothers shoveling off the part of the roof that had only a slight slant over the porch and carport...the main roof had a steep pitch...I hadn't thought of that for years! And what kid wouldn't want to go down that hill? I know several adults that would enjoy it too! Hoping to link up to the card party tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteWe've had a lot of snow recently too. It snowed Friday, Saturday, and again today. Not sure of the totals but guessing 6-7" between the three storms. Seems we are in a pattern! The good news is that we'll be getting some temps that facilitate melting this week. The further bad news is, with frozen ground, that could mean flooding. Ok, Beth is done complaining about the weather now! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Beth
That's a great hill for sledding! Have fun memory making with the grands!
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like a great hill! I'm ready for your note card party this month. You always have such wonderful parties, and I can always count on a lot of extra visitors to my blog. I've become friends with many of the regular participants, so I am grateful to you! LOL, I hope that the grands don't wear you out this week.
ReplyDeleteHave fu with your grands. Speaking from experience, being busy is much better than doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteI wish my grands lived closer; the hill looks amazing. I'm so looking forward to your DA recap! XOXO
ReplyDeleteDid you slid down that HILL??
ReplyDeleteYou have a fun week enjoy and be blessed as you rest! xo
Roxy
Looks like y'all had more snow! Hey, don't worry about visiting. Be with the grands. They grow up so fast, take time to enjoy them. We'll still be here. God bless from warm & sunny SE Georgia. (Rub it in, rub it in ... giggle) ~:)
ReplyDeleteIs the 'really bug hill' nearby? My youngest two grandgirlies were skiing last week...down the mountain. Even the fearless two-year-old. Oye! It's just as well I wasn't there to watch. Have fun with your grands this week...and keep safe in all that snow.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really big hill, for certain. Brings back lots of memories of sledding as a child. Haven't done that in years. Have no desire to do it, either.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week with the grands. Thanks for the note card party reminder.
I would LOVE to go down that hill :) Have fun with the grands this week.
ReplyDeleteWow --that really is a big hill! What fun!
ReplyDeleteI've heard that clearing a roof of snow is important when it piles up over a foot. Tell John to be very careful!. I won't let V go up on a roof any longer--I'd rather pay someone to do the work. Our roof is very, very, high!
All the colorful kids against that endless white snow! Fabulous photo Vee, and you are such a fabulous boys grandmother!
ReplyDeleteWow, Vee, it looks like a ski lodge! Enjoy your week! xo
ReplyDeleteNice photos . Warming up here as of Wed above 0 and rain to hit . Hope all our snow melts . Thanks for sharing . Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteOH Vee! I wanna come over and play!!! That looks like so much fun. I did not watch Downton, a show called Hawaii Life (or is is Living?, like House Hunters) and well..you know..that caught my attention, lol. Blessings
ReplyDeleteWowzers...that's a lot of snow and a great big hill to come down! I'm going to have to get moving on that Note card party. Enjoy your active week with active grands!!
ReplyDeleteThat snow hill is awesome. Have fun with the grands.
ReplyDeleteAnd the snow continues.... Enjoy those grandkids. : )
ReplyDeleteHi Vee, what a tall hill. It's amazing how high it is and all of the snow. Love the pictures too with all of the shadows...Be careful with the roof......We are fortunate to hardly get any snow, but we do miss out on the sledding. xo
ReplyDeleteThat is a whole lot of snow. Sounds like you will have a busy week with your grandkids. Last week we had 3 of our 5 here....it's wonderful when they come and it's wonderful when they go. Enjoy the snow with the kids...and feeding them all...I love meal times with the kids.
ReplyDeleteOOO, soooo much snow. whew.....
ReplyDeleteI just spent 4 days with grands and loved every minute. You will, too. :)
O, and I luv your header....:)
Sounds like a fun Winter's Camp week at Grammys!! Lots of hot chocolate with marshmallows coming up? You WILL be busy indeed - the best kind of busy. Keep taking those great pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou sure do have a busy week! I hope it goes well with the grands. I love that sliding hill! I guess I'll be missing the Notecard Party this month. ;( Just don't have time to visit so I hope you all have fun! xo
ReplyDeleteWhew! That is some hill! The grands will have a blast, I'm sure. Is G'ma going to take a sled down that hill, too?
ReplyDeleteThat is one cool hill! My kids would love to join your grands there!
ReplyDeleteWe have a busy week too with wedding stuff - we are on the countdown at 11 days So amazing! Bridal shower tomorrow night, lots of last minute things for that (I'm helping Emma, as my niece hasn't been as helpful as she had intended!)
I will try to do the Note Card Party but if I miss it this time, I'll at least visit all the wonderful contributors!
Have a great week!
Deanna
Looks like your are up for an amazingly busy week.
ReplyDeleteHave a great family week. :)
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like a busy week, Vee! I hope your pastor is doing well. Prayers are with him.
ReplyDeletep.s. The cocoa cookies that you shared the link to, sound delish! I loved the peek at your pretty snack mat, too. xo
Shovelling roofs, that doesn't sound like fun but at least the grands are taking advantage of all the snow. The big hill certainly is that!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how much fun that is! As an adult I have been confined to living in mostly flat places. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteOdd. My comment did not show up.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to say that your sledding hill looks awesome.
Hi Vee!
ReplyDeleteBusy week indeed! I love it when my grands come to stay, but they wear this old lady out ... ;0)
I just love all of your snow, we need it so desperately! Be safe shoveling the roof, that looks like a difficult job. Have fun playing with your cute grands! This hill is amazing - I wish I was there, I love sledding!
Hugs,
Barb
Brave! That hill intimidates me. They are definitely budding Olympians.
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT hill. I would love to go down that myself! WOW! Busy week here, too...so busy I missed this post yesterday. God bless and have a good week with the kiddos- xo Diana
