Welcome to the third Note Card Party! How quickly a month flies by (we won't depress ourselves by thinking about that). On with the festivities...
I was obviously hungry when I began thinking about this month's Note Card Party. Thinking about themes has never been a strong suit for me. If I were working on being totally theme-y~theme-y, I might have gone with four chocolate offerings. Somehow the Paska and the pizza worked their way in.
Rules Refresher:
1. Let's try not to make too many rules...
2. Search for four photographs on your own blog that would make a nice set of note cards. They must have appeared on your blog by the time you link up.
3. Write your post.
4. Link directly to your post below.
5. Visit ten or so others (at least) and comment. Knowing that new visitors are viewing and commenting is part of the fun. (Permission granted to look and not comment at blogs practicing safe commenting. All those word verifications get very tiring when trying to visit a lot of blogs.)
6. Have fun!
Oh Yum! I would LOVE to eat any of these right now! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great, Vee! You are making me hungry and I just finished eating! They would be perfect note cards! Enjoy your evening! I'm linked...I hope!
ReplyDeleteVee,
ReplyDeleteI think I gained weight just reading this post! Dang.
Could easily make a meal of these note cards!

Yes! to your food theme. Wonderful cards! And maybe on the back side, the recipe!
ReplyDeleteYum, Vee -- all of these look DELICIOUS!! Your food photography is very good; that's something I'm going to have to work on. All of these would make nice note cards.
ReplyDeleteThank you again for hosting the monthly party. :)

Your theme is just fine! Mouthwateringly fine!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting again this month, Vee. I'm looking forward to seeing lots of great photos.
Wow...these look cookbook worthy, Vee. That pizza, wow! Thanks for hosting. xo
ReplyDeleteHi Vee, Your photos are magazine (or notecard) worthy for sure. I especially like the way you composed the first shot. Nice job, and thanks for sponsoring this fun party!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be neat if the recipe were printed on the back of each of your cards? I'd buy those! I do have a complaint though. We went out for one of those "senior citizen" specials -- combo late lunch/early dinner -- it was an errand/shopping day. Anyway I thought I wouldn't need to eat again, until I visited here. (Please send me a piece of that cake ASAP!!!)
ReplyDeleteYour note cards are yummy - will be back tomorrow to browse.
ReplyDeleteYUM! Thanks for hosting this fun party, Vee.
ReplyDeleteHi Vee
ReplyDeleteIt's been awhile since I stopped by, but I'm glad that today was the day that I finally made it over to visit. Love your note card party! I may just join in next month. Right now I'm in the final days before Mr OP's birthday and am in overdrive:)
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Leann

ReplyDeleteOh that chocolate cake is just what I'm hungry for right now!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Vee.
Hi Vee. I'm joining the Notecard Party for the first time (: Love your cards - they'd be great for sharing recipes!
ReplyDeleteHi Vee, I've linked up, and then I had to go find a piece of cake to eat. Great, snack inducing photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Vee, for hosting this fun party. I'm glad I could join in this month. Your note cards are delightful and look delicious, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful party! I'm a first time visitor and decided to play along. Thank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteVee, First time joining up. Thanks for hosting. Ginger
ReplyDeletePizza for breakfast?
ReplyDeleteYes please.
They all look amazing!!
Foodie note cards....Yum!
Yummy! Great food photos Vee ... I've found photographing food to be challenging ... you have to get the light just so and figure out how to style the photo, otherwise it can just look like something slapped on a plate ... and it looks like you've got all that figured out cause your food pics are very nice.

You had me at 4 chocolate offerings ;) I'll have to brush up on my camera skills!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a fun party. When will the next party be? Would love to party with you. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYou went with the 'P' theme: pizza, paska, piece of cake and proven-winner-cookies! :) Great note card picks.
ReplyDeleteHi Vee,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed the posts about Blowing Rock. I'm always glad to find another Jan Karon fan out there. :) You'll have to visit North Carolina sometime; I'd be happy to show you around.
Have a great day!

I'm so glad that first photo made it into the line-up. When you first posted it I instantly thought ... note card!!
ReplyDeleteFood is a delightful theme, especially when it looks as tempting as these photos.
You know what they say about every party has a "pooper". I'm sorry to say that is going to be me this go round. It snuck up on me this time and I hoped to have time today to search through my photos, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I do plan to come back later and hop around to do some visiting.
Next time I'll have my homework done early :).
Vee, I didn't enter this time -- I realized very few of my photos are note card material! -- but I love your cards, and I really would love to have a bite of any of them.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to do this...and finally did! I went back pretty far to find photos...I didn't see anything in the rules that said the photos needed to be within a time frame.
ReplyDeleteLove your food photos...always my favorite! The pizza looks really yummy!
What a great party Vee. I am home late tonight and had no time to link never mind to party. Maybe next notecard party I will be prepared.
ReplyDeleteYou are a great hostess.
Your pictures look scrumptious! I also love your current header picture! So pretty!

Hi Vee,
ReplyDeleteThe one thing that I have a difficult time photographing is food. You certainly can make your dishes look delicious.
I am finally feeling a bit better, still running a fever though. Just feel off my feet. In fact yesterday I was on the computer for a while posting so people didn't think I was gone forever, and I left a cup of coffee sitting by my computer. Now my silly dog Cocoa loves coffee. Yup she got up on the desk drank the coffee and in the process knocked the cup over and ruined my keyboard. The "I" no longer works. I just hope that's not a metaphor for something. Luckily I had a spare wireless one.
Your not card photos are wonderful. Wishing you good health and a happy day.
Karen
Oh I didn't make it this month..got side-tracked, but will try next month.
ReplyDeleteI love your postcard food...yes, makes you hunger, and makes your mouth water
Even though I don't participate, I love making the rounds to see what all these gals come up with. Some of them are extremely talented photographers, and encourage me to try harder. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteOh Vee....I wanted to join in...so I did a post, but it is too late. I am still a little behind. Sorry....
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear this party is over - I'll have to mark it on my calendar for new month. I took a trip to the big city to be there when my daughter said goodbye to her dear Persian cat...a sad time for all of us as she often visited here at the farm.
ReplyDeleteThese all look delicious! One of these days I'll get my act together and join your note card party.
ReplyDeleteYUM! And a recipe needs to be provided with every card, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate cake looks yummy, but my attention was actually stolen by the prints in the table linen-very sweet! Also noticed how the blueberries in the mug in the third picture match well with the fabric in the second print. I'm a gardener and a wannabe quilter! Kimberley from Cosmos and Cleome
