And a lovely weekend was had by all. It began with a Saturday morning breakfast, some gift opening, some games, some crafts, and ended with cookies being delivered by a grand and his mom last evening. Perfect!

Warm memories, what a special season. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteLoved hearing this sweet little boy voice! Looks like y'all had a great time Christmas-ing and making new memories, Vee. Your family is lovely - does your sister or niece or daughter blog? Is your daughter still painting? What did your grandsons get for Christmas? Fun times, new memories, wonderful fellowship with family! Love your pictures and especially your little video!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Vee!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of special family time! Love the "Family Quilt" mosaic!
ReplyDeleteLike Vickie, I enjoyed hearing your grand's little voice...there's just something so compelling about wee voices, isn't there?
Vee,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your lovely holiday party! I am living vicariously through all you ladies with perfectly appointed homes with all the holiday fanfare. My home is not appointed at all, a partially decorated tree is my only Christmas decor offering, have not finished the last four handmade gifts, a menu and family celebrations is only partially planned, nothing is wrapped and somehow this year none of this bothers me. Christmas will come and it will all get done and I have been enjoying the season. Maybe this is what letting go of the perfect expectations feels like or maybe I am just terribly deluded LOL! Have a great day!
I do believe you've figured out how to use that new camera! I can tell that everyone is quite comfortable when you have the camera in hand.
ReplyDeleteYour family get-together looks like such fun. Children always make the gatherings extra-special. I love the mosaics and all the pictures.
Looks like a marvelous time. So glad every one enjoyed the time together.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos...taken with the new camera?
My bunch meets here on Sat. evening, Christmas Eve. I can hardly wait.
I have a new recipe to try...a side dish for our ham...and today it is rainy and I am about to decorate all those cookies I've made all last week.
I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR....
xo bj
Happy Christmas week Vee. This has been a challenging year for you and for me. We can all give thanks knowing that we made it with our faith intact and a better understanding of life. Thanks for sharing your loving time with family and your photos are better and better all the time. All the blessings dear blogger sista.

ReplyDeleteWhat lovely memories you all are making! The pictures are wonderful.
And our cats are all boys. We always have boy kitties. They have great fun together - playing, wrestling, snuggling and grooming each other.
Your new camera is capturing all the wonderfulness of Christmastime. Love the one of your tree. Have a great week in the lead up to the big day.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of your family gathering! The furbaby is draped over my arms, so I'll leave you with a Merry Christmas!
