Christmas Glow
Don't you just love peeking inside people's windows at Christmastime? Oh yes, from a safe distance, of course. These are photos of my own windows and my own yard so I'm definitely safe.
At last, I am participating in Mary's Mosaic Monday at Little Red House once again. I missed November altogether. And I still haven't visited everyone in October. I'm falling back on Mary's request to visit the ten listed before me and the ten listed after. I think that's what she said. Anyway, I think that that is definitely doable.
Wishing you a season of much love and joy.
How beautiful...and awe inspiring! You visited me...does that count? Enjoy your evening! Stay warm! ♥
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is lovely, I love all the cute little peeks. My neighbors are a little distance away. Beautiful photos, well done! I hope you have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty and how very artistic this mosaic is!
ReplyDeleteI love your photo header! ^_^ Your mosaic is awesome!

ReplyDeleteI do love peeking in windows especially at Christmas!

Wonderful mosaic. Well done. V
ReplyDeleteThank you for allowing us to peek in your windows. New follower.
ReplyDeleteAudrey
Oh, these photos are amazing..;love your mosaic.
ReplyDeleteIs Mary having it this week? I went by awhile ago and she didn't have it up....will go back now and ck.
I love the peeks :) Very pretty mosaic, I love the glow!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and so welcoming...I enjoyed the peek
ReplyDeleteYes very creative. When our kids were small and we would drive around at night they would say, " Look there's a Christmas house." Now they all have tall ceilings in their homes and a huge Christmas tree. They all have a Christmas house now.

Very lovely and inspiring preparations for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mosaic Vee! I love looking in peoples windows too. From a distance. :) Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaic Vee... enjoy your Xmas! And the quote by Mabie is so true!
ReplyDeleteI love the warm glow from houses this time of year! Especially if they have Christmas lights inside. :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty mosaic, Vee. I love to see Christmas tree lights in windows. Mine won't be seen in the window this year, we put our main tree in a corner of the living room for a change. I like it there, but will miss seeing the lights when we come in at night.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
I like peeking in people's windows anytime of the year! And the Christmas season gives us a lot more to peek at.
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaic!
I love your header! It is magical to peek ;o) Beautiful mosaic!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Christmas! Yesterday I created a mosaic of the decorations around/outside our house. It doesn't look as much like the season as what you've created. I love your white lights - they have such a beautiful glow. Thanks for letting us peek inside your windows!
ReplyDeletePretty pictures Vee. I have always loved the houses that put their Christmas tree in the front windows for all to see. Even though we have a bay window in our living room, there is a floor heat register there, so we can't put our tree there :-(
ReplyDeleteWishing you Christmas joy in return, beautiful mosaic...Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright...
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to discovery someone who likes to peek in windows at night too,.... of course from a distance. And from this distance yours are lovely! Thanks for the peek.
ReplyDeleteSo blessed by Laura Story's song, What a powerful message. Sorry I missed it yesterday!
Hugs,
Sue
Thanks for your visit Vee - it's pretty quiet here on the farm. I really do love peeking in through people's windows especially at Christmas. When we lived in the city I enjoyed going on Christmas light tours and catching a glimpse of the life and light inside the homes. I guess I didn't read Mary's request - but will try to do that this week. Aren't her mosaics spectacular? I like the way your photos are repeated in your mosaic. i'll have to try that sometime but it's definitely time to put the coffee on soon!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhh sooooooo pretty a mosaic!!! And oh yes, 'tis lovely to peek in lit windows, any time of the year. Especially at Christmas Time.
ReplyDeleteThe only neighbor's house I can really seeeeeee into now, because of all the ding-dang trees which next door's ex-boy-friend planted (grrrr)... Anyway, I could/can see into a back window, across the back yards, and see the Christmas Tree in the same spot. It is one of the *Necessary Points* of Christmas Season. :-) "K****'s tree is up!!!"
Btw, I came to your blog, via your Profile Page today, and I finally saw your new Icon, well. It is simply lovely! Oh please stick with this one. At least till the Season changes. It is so lovely!!!
Gentle hugs,
"Christmas was close at hand, in all his bluff and hearty honesty;
it was the season of hospitality, merriment, and open-heartedness."
~~Charles Dickens
I enjoyed your mosaic. They give a hint of a lovely season.
ReplyDeleteLast week I was putting up my decorations while there was road construction going on out my front window. There was a flag girl posted in perfect vision and yet I never saw her peeking. I thought . ..I couldn't do that. They must be well trained to keep eyes averted from house interiors.
ReplyDeleteLove your mosaic.
Vee I decided to go back to Mary's, visited Pondside and she led me back here so i looked for her inspiration from you. thanks so much for sharing "Mercies in Disguise". It will be meaningful to anyone who listens.
ReplyDeleteWhere I use to live, people would call the Police when they saw someone peeking in their window. However, this view of yours isn't peeking, you invited me. I see you've started your holiday decorating. My favorite is driving the neighborhood at night in search of the brightest decorated house. Our house is decorated outside with some lights, certainly not prize worthy, just a little spirit of Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mosaics!! I loved peeking in your windows....... and yes, I do love looking in windows.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!

LOL!! You had me afraid for you at first - when reading the beginning of the post, for a moment I thought you'd peeked and snapped, then I read faster and realized you snapped pics only of your own windows! Beautiful pics/mosiac, and thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSandi
How Pretty - Great job !!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I may go back and see if they have a new display this year.
Thanks for the peek inside your home! Pretty photos.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you too for stopping by My Front Porch...I am also trying to catch up with everyone's posts!
Happy holidays to you,

Beautiful. We have our tree in front of our living room window this year. It looks very nice from outside, I think. I'm back. I've missed reading your posts!!
ReplyDeleteYour Night Glow mosaic is pretty. Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteI most love window peeking at that magical time of day when the sun has just set and lights have just come on. And nothing beats the holidays for this hobby :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love a tree in a window! Thanks for the peek into your own window via such a lovely mosaic.
ReplyDeleteAlso...thanks for the visit. (And I think I have that video up and running now. Techie stuff...bah humbug.) Hmmmm...a "cozy corner" linky party sounds like fun!
Beautifully done! Come back & visit..I'm having a give-away!
ReplyDeleteI do love Christmas windows. When we lived in Germany, on the border with the Netherlands, I loved to drive along the Dutch streets and look at the living room windows, set up with the most beautiful vignettes.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set of mosaics ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Vee,
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas lights on all the houses, and peeking in the windows at the Christmas trees all lit up. This year it seems that more people have decorated than in previous years. Your photographs are lovely, and I love how you created this mosaic.
Karen
