My Fairy Blog Mother

As you can see, I had a Fairy Blog Mother busily working away since I was last here. She has done such a lot of tidying up and getting things back to working order. Her name is Linda and she blogs at *Life and Linda.* It's a beautiful blog as you might imagine. I have seen a number of blogs around Blogdom of late that she has worked with and was most impressed, yet it was visiting her own blog that cinched it for me. If you ever need help, tell her I sent you!

So autumn has arrived while I was fussing over less lovely things...

My grandmother's tea pot with the sweet little house. (I broke the lid while visiting her one day.)
A beautiful day to you...thank you for putting up with me!

  26. Oh I just love that photo at the farm stand. The light is so beautiful in it. And I love your cabinet (mantel) top and the sweet teapot. Your blog looks great but the background music sheet is only showing a bit at the top on either side and the rest is grey. I'm not sure if that's the look or not. I like that you added your labels at the bottom of the page. I might just do that too. I should do some blog house cleaning. I have too many photos on my side bar. A good evening to you. Pam

    1. Pam, are you on your PC or iPad? iPads don't show the entire background.

  28. Everyone can use a fairly blogmother! I'm seeing the same as Pam from my laptop - only a tiny bit of sheet music at the top. Should it be an entire background?
I love the first photo with the sunbeams, fall mums and pumpkins.
Nice to have someone take the frazzle out of life isn't it? :-)

  35. Glad Linda was so helpful. I love the little tea pot with the pumpkin. I see cute tea pots and sugar dishes all the time at thrift stores with NO lid...now I know what I can do with them.

  37. Oh, how lovely to have found a Fairy Blog Mother! That sounds much better than the fretting and gnashing of teeth and exasperation with all things technical. BOO to that...and YAY to pretty solutions! Did I hear you breathe a sigh of relief?

I love your Catherine Holman print! It is a perfect focal point for your charming autumn vignette.

Are you in for a weather experience? I saw a Weather Channel alert..and wasn't sure if it would come close to you or not.

  45. Hi Vee,

I love your new header, and the photos in this post are gorgeous. I just started to get my Fall decorations in order. Yesterday I took RJ to get some pumpkins, today I'll get some mums. Isn't this time of year glorious? I have been meaning to e-mail you and ask how to set up the reply function on my comments. At least if I don't have time to visit, I can at least leave a reply on my post.

Well, you always seem to have the head start on seasons. Have a beautiful day.

  46. Oh I so need a fairy blog mother...my page design is so boring!~ Love your new look!

  47. Don't know if you'll see this since I'm late getting here, but I wanted to tell you that I really love the look of the blog. The sheet music background is so "you". I also read of the previous blogger troubles and wanted to tell you that I can relate completely. I changed mine a while back, and it was the font and font colors that went kerwobbly for me. I had to get my daughter to try to fix it, and from that point on, I got nervous just changing a header.

Saw your Cruz post but will email instead of comment as per suggestion.

  48. Woohoo Vee!! This looks great, and I'm so glad you're happy with it! Linda does seem like a real sweetheart, and she has helped some of my other blog friends, Kitty @ Kitty's Kozy Kitchen and Barbara @ Two Birdies and A B. I love your sheet music background -- it's so you. Most of all, I'm glad you're not going to walk away from your blog. :-D

I just cannot get over your first photo in this post -- it looks straight out of a magazine. Gorgeous! The colors are lovely and the light is perfect! I love your other two pics, too -- such cozy fall home scenes. Have a great day my friend!

    Hugs,
