  1. I need to check out that meme and see it. It looks so interesting! I'm sort of glad to see February go this year. It started out just ducky but kind of ended up in a whirly swirly mess.

BTW, I love that self portrait one. It really is beautiful of you!

    1. Cheryl does her Gather the Moments on a monthly basis. Kati's photo challenges are now and then...I think. Perhaps she'll tell us!

  3. I enjoyed these very much, Vee! I like them all, but I think days, 26, 27, and 28 are my favorites -- oh, and Day 1. :) Love your self-portrait. We're almost caught up on Downton Abbey here. We missed for a few weeks because of course, we had to watch the Olympics. I hope you and John have a wonderful weekend!

  8. if it'd been my choice, I would have kicked February to the curb 26 days ago. at least today, the final day, is sunny and I'm hanging clothes on the line...hope it gets above freezing!

  9. Thanks for joining in, Vee! Oh, you did such a great job with this challenge! I found that I broadened my horizons by looking for photo possibilities that were out of my "norm."

I smiled a lot as I scrolled through your photos, both at your pics and at your words. I loved the handwriting on Day 20. That could have been your entry for Day 28 too. But Day 28 is perfect...doubly sweet! I liked your boots shot. Love your selfie...love Day 22...love Day 26 (another double)...

Kati says that she'll be doing another photo challenge this summer. It'll be fun!

  22. First thing I did was call the number on the old phone...thinking I might just have a wee chat with you. But the voice on the other end told me that number was no longer in service. Awww! A fun post for the end of the month...and so many things I could comment on. About the missing shoes...you might want to check in the closet under John's work clothes. :) Great pic's...and commentary to go with them. I'm smiling.

  27. Oh I just loved this post Vee! That is a really fun meme and task to take a photo each day with a theme. Some made me smile and some made me want to eat. :) Is this something they do every month? Will you do it again? Have a cozy weekend. It's going to be cold and snowy.

    1. He has his mama's blue eyes. Mine are brown. He may have my hair, though, as I'm the only one with brown hair. All other grandparents have or had light hair and both parents have light hair.

  40. All wonderful photos, Vee. It looks like a photo diary. I just joined Instagram, and it's similar to this as almost everyone posts a few photos a day. My favorite of your photos? Your charming grandsons and the beautiful Valentine's card that John gave to you! :)

    1. Yes, I think that is what Cheryl means it to be with her "Gather the Moments" month-ending party—a way to go to one post and get an overview of the month past. You could join us! ☺

  41. You are just too, too funny, Vee! Love the short and sweet commentary. I have yet to master that skill (obviously!) I chuckled the whole way through. And I noticed those really sweet napkins and rings, too. I wonder where I could get some of those. HAHA

  42. Love your pictures, Vee! You've had a busy month and are so creative.
My favorite was the "sweet" picture. ;) I hope your prediction for March proves untrue.

  44. Hi Vee..I think you met the challenge with vim and vigor! :) After reading your post and about headers, I realize even more how "in over my head" I am. I have have to to several sites and tried to learn to make my own header and failed miserably. Maybe it's old age but I have trouble keeping up. My header stays the same until I pay someone to change it. It's run into some money, so now it stays the same.
I enjoyed your post very much. I hope the BIG snow storms are over.
