Good Morning
Ahhh...something a little more calm in the color department, an old cream bottle from my grandmother's stash. Sutton Farms dairy must have been in Penobscot County. The logo says this: Good Morning. We Are Bringing You Health. ☺ Mighty big claim. They'd not get away with that now!
A blessed weekend to you...
Pretty.....I remember the Wonder Bread commercials that said they were building healthy, strong bodies 12 ways. White, commercial bread. Funny how times have changed.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you, too, Vee! Hope it's full of joy and contentment...
ReplyDeleteGlad I don't see any snow outside your window. :)
And to you sweet Vee! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGood morning to you too Vee. A good rainy one here. I love this photo and the old cream bottle with the purple bloom. So sweet. Have a lovely weekend and Mother's Day. xo
ReplyDeleteGood morning to YOU!!! I hope you and JOhn have a lovely weekend! Thank you for your prayers for Louis Dean! He is MUCH better this morning!!! Wish Y'all could be here on the ranch and enjoy all this color we have down here in Texas!!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Vee. It is so nice to see spring color in your window after the long winter.
ReplyDeleteWe finally got a good soaking rain yesterday, so I'm off to pull weeds this morning. After my coffee, that is.
How neat to have milk bottles from your grandmother. If only health were as easy as a glass of milk every morning. :D
Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day.
Have a wonderful weekend Vee! Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun jar (with a bold claim)! :D
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend is as cheerful as this picture you've shared with us!
Both sweet-the wee bottle and the flowers!
ReplyDeleteI rather like that bold claim .. sort of "Good Morning! I wish you well!" Love the bottle and the delicate blooms. Besides, I love purple! Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love old milk bottles and have a few above my fridge....I need to put some flowers in them. Good morning my friend! Enjoy your day! Happy Mother's day! Hugs!

Color is mighty good, but less is also calming to the eyes.
ReplyDeleteMay God grant to good health,
Happy Mothers Day,
Marie Antoinette
I am seriously hooked on your window and its sil......of course the photography is wonderful, as always. Have a blessed and happy Mother's Day, Vee. xo
ReplyDeleteThat is so simple but very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI have a bottle collection and many say neat little things on them. I'll have to do a post on the one day.
Good afternoon from me, just back from a garden club tea. I'm wondering if the discussion has been going on at your home too about why humans continue to drink milk after weaning, and from another species? I've been reading about this and our two daughters are in on the discussion, I don't know what to think about it.
ReplyDeleteWould this be be a good blog topic you want to throw out?
Probably not. I think milk is mighty tasty. Besides, I also eat meat of another species. LOL! I'll be happy to read what you have to say about it, though.
Delete"If I had the room ..." [a frequent statement of mine] ... there would be shelves of the same in our home. I like old glass objects. As to milk itself, unfortunately, I'm lactose intolerant, so, it wouldn't bring me very good health. I've discovered unsweetened Almond Milk and been refraining from dairy whenever possible. Makes me feel much better. I do splurge on pizza occasionally but have to get medicated beforehand. Plus, dairy tends to make one fat. I really need to slim down ... [like THAT will ever happen ...] *lol* ~:)
ReplyDeleteAnd to you!!! Have a wonderful Mom's Day Vee.... Hugs.
ReplyDeleteSo simple and so pretty. Love the blue. Happy Mother's Day, Vee.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet & feminine photo! Your header is lovely. Have a wonderful mom's day and thank you for the visit!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Simple, with a homey elegance that just can't be topped. Happy Mother's Day, Vee!
ReplyDeletePretty collectibles Vee. Happy mom's day to you :)
ReplyDeleteLovely image! Happy Mother's Day! Wishing you a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteOh, and old-fashioned grape hyacinths. They always remind me of my maternal grandmother. She was wonderful and, because of her, I love flowers.
ReplyDeleteLovely Vee, this brought back a memory for me, I remember as a young girl finding these grape hyacinths growing wild under the clothesline, I always stopped and picked a few. Thanks for the memory.
ReplyDeleteI almost forgot, I want to personally wish you a very Happy Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteLove those little grape hyacinths! We had snow today--crazy Colorado weather!
ReplyDeleteI've sure enjoyed catching up with you! Your photography keeps getting better and better Vee. Thanks so much for stopping by and your sweet comment. Hope you had a great Mothers Day with your family.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Edie Marie
I love that photo, Vee. Thanks for capturing the simplicity. I hope you had a blessed Mother's Day. xo
ReplyDeleteI second Kitty's thoughts. I was thinking the same exact thing!
ReplyDeleteHope that your Mother's Day was wonderful!
Happy Monday!
Leann
I love the graphics on those old bottles! It sure looks cute with those grape hyacinths inside :>)
ReplyDeleteI love the grape hyacinths Vee.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for some to plant for Spring and they are so hard to find here.
I've also asked about the old fashioned cream freesia that had the most beautiful fragrance - but no, it appears they only have the coloured mixed bulbs now... that's progress for you!
