Golden Orbs
This makes my 109th Mosaic Monday post. Was a time when I participated every week and then the party grew so popular that I couldn't keep up so stepped back from it, just tipping my toes in every few months or so. I really want to thank Mary of Little Red House for lovingly hosting her creation for so long and I also want to thank her for passing the torch. Judith at Lavender Cottage is our new hostess and I look forward to participating every so often. Had to be here today on Judith's inaugural run and to congratulate her on this new journey.
Last night's moon and yesterday's spider lily.
Thanks for popping by. A good week to you...

Oh my goodness, are you a Cold Comfort Farm movie fan too?!
ReplyDeleteGood pictures. The moon is pretty right now. I was going to snap one last night but didn't think my little 'point & shot' would do it justice. Thanks for sharing. ~:)
I've enjoyed Mosaic Monday, too and you've written a very sweet post to both of our hostesses. I love your beautiful mosaic! I think the clouds will hide the big super moon tonight here but I look forward to more photos from blog buddies. Enjoy your afternoon! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteVee,
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful mosaic you have made....We saw the moon rise last night and it was quickly covered by clouds...but alas, we need the rain so badly...
Love, Mona
Wonderful mosaic Vee. You captured the moon beautifully.
ReplyDeleteLovely! It is quite a job to manage a monthly blog project, so I don't even want to think about a weekly one. And it's all I can do to keep up my photo of the week project. More power to Judith and participants like you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome mosaic template Vee, you know how I like unusual ones! We'll be hoping to see the moon tonight from our back deck.
ReplyDeleteThe spider lily is pretty, my daylilies are just about finished and them it's on to autumn flowering colours.
Thank you for joining me on the first Mosaic Monday I hosted, and I hope you'll come and play whenever you can.
Hello Vee, pretty mosiac. And lovely post, the moon and lily and both beautiful. It is so nice of Judith to take over Mosaic Monday.. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful. I love the way you did the mosaic. The pics are beautiful. I was planning on joining too to celebrate our new hostess! Your cats are great. My cat hasn't been feeling well either. For a few weeks. But he is much back to his old self today. Been eating like crazy! Thank you for coming by and visiting my 'pouty/shaggy' dog.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

The moon really has been bright! Lovely mosaic. I really enjoyed your Sunday post, too. Pretty white church and the cemetery right there. Your testimony reminded me of something I heard this week from one of our big Christian mountain camps in Southern California that my family (extended) have enjoyed over the years. They had a flash flood/mudslide there last week and the chapel was a mess but none of the many many testimony books (testimonies written over the years by campers) were damaged at all. They were thrilled for that. Samaritan's Purse has been up there helping with the clean up since the grounds sustained over $750,000 dollars worth of damage.
ReplyDeleteLove the mosaic, Vee. Now how in the world did you overlay those small pics over a larger one? Lots to learn.
ReplyDeletePhotoscape...it's a free download that has lots of nifty features.
DeleteGreat mosaic, Vee! The spider lilies are so pretty, and I love your picture of the moon. We wanted to see the Super Moon last night, but naturally, it was rainy and cloudy here. It seems to happen every time these days. You must have had clear weather in Maine.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and have a wonderful week! :)
Hugs,
Denise at Forest Manor
That's a great moon shot, Vee. We saw the moon, but I didn't take any photos of it. They usually look like a white circle in the midst of black. Posing some foliage as you've done is such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
I like that! Beautiful moon photo.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week too, Vee!
Very pretty mosaic, Vee. I wish Judith all the best.
ReplyDeleteHope you have enjoyed your Sunday.
What a beautiful moon shot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to everyone and especially to you Vee - a beautiful mosaic indeed!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy Judith took over MM! It would be a shame to see it disappear. Your moon shot is beautiful, Vee. I love the silhouette it reflects.
ReplyDeleteI love moon shots - for a special reason I have an affinity with it.
ReplyDeleteThe spider lily is lovely - yellow always adds sunshine to a photo and in the background pic the tree trunks add strength - you knew what you were doing here Vee!!!
I love the moon because when I look at it I always think that maybe my family in France will look at it when it's night there and think of us 12,000+ miles away!
Very nice mosaic with wonderful images.
ReplyDeleteLast nights moon was a beauty here too!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Deanna
Love that collage! I am joining Mosaic Monday for the first time ever (I think). Have a wonderful Monday, Vee. We're having a stormy morning. Lots of rain, thunder, and lightning. I love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat mosaic Vee! The moon photo is so great. Hope you've had a fabulous summer!!
ReplyDeleteMany blessings, Edie Marie
I love the way you overlaid the small pics on one larger one. Good post. MB
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Vee! My moon photo wasn't nearly as nice as yours ... I'm not very good at using my phone to take photos. Trying to learn though!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Nice how you put them together.
ReplyDeletePerfectly said, per usual, Vee.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think it is great how you did your mosaic - very clever. I am relatively new to mosaics, and I am not that creative, so may have to try that sometime.
Your moon pic is STUNNING.
Hi Vee, Beautiful Mosaic. Hope you have a great week :)
