Hi~
Are you joining me for the
Ice Cream Social at Suzy's
Kitchen Bouquet this weekend? Hope so!
I do believe that I've been heavily influenced by the colors of the daylilies around and about.
Yup, it looks like a creamsicle to me. Please let me know if you're planning to participate as I want to visit you, too!
We will be celebrating two wonderful events here this weekend-- my Mom's 88 birthday, and the return of a nephew who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania last week! I hope he allows me to use some of his photos to blog about his adventure!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the ice cream social ---do you believe I have not had any ice cream as yet this summer? That will change soon as we are having ice cream cake to celebrate my Mom's special day.
I don't even like Creamsicles! But that Daylily is certainly good enough to lick/eat. :-)
ReplyDeletethat does look like a cream sicle.
ReplyDeletei am not participating in the link,
but i would happily enjoy a cream
sicle now!
Thanks Vee, for the encouraging comments on my blogs! ...missed you! :) I'll be closing down the first blog once I get it recorded or copied off. But am in no hurry, just will no longer post on it. I read your post on "blogs and what we reveal to our readers." That was another reason I quit blogging on the other blog. Found out that many people around me (locally), were reading it. Some I hardly talk to and yet they knew so many things and daily happenings about me because they read my blog. It was a weird feeling. And I thought they might take it as me being pompous..."showing off my house and creativity in a public forum." LOL! Does that make sense?
ReplyDeleteYour day lilies in the last post and on your header pic are beautiful!!! :)
I am going to join you! Thanks for telling me about it!
ReplyDeletedid I hear someone say ice cream???
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to check this out!
An ice cream social ~ what fun!!
ReplyDeleteI just went over and looked at last year's social. Oh my, I think I may have gained a few pounds just from looking.
Now your creamsicle, on the other hand, looks yummy with no calories.
Well I didn't know about the ice cream, but I did have chocolate for dessert:)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
