One of These is Not Like the Other

One is fresh from the laundry, pressed, and ready to be gift-wrapped. I'm so excited! Okay, catch you later.

Have a wonderful day...

Edited to Add (8/12/11): Yes, it's the one in the center delivered yesterday to a dear blogger from the West Coast touring on the East Coast. I asked her if she liked to cook because I know that she is very involved in hospitality. Her response, "Not so much." (Would have been my answer, too.) We had a lovely visit and I have more to share. It's being Friday and a nonni day, however, I am fresh out of time. Will share tomorrow Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

  3. You're already making Christmas gifts! I used to be organized like that.

Two years ago I made aprons for Christmas gifts. Last year I made placemat purses. I don't know why, but it always makes me feel better about Christmas and get in the holiday spirit when I make gifts. I do believe you're motivating me!

  11. I once went to an Art Gallery exhibit which had clotheslines full of aprons on display. Your aprons are reminiscent of that art show...a wonderful idea and so well sewn - thanks again for the lovely apron you sent me Vee!

  12. ohhhhhhhhhhh--I love the pink striped one. Walmart has ready to make aprons in their fabric aisle. (although I have noticed, they are slowly doing away with that area, sadly.) Very nice Vee!!

  13. Beautiful aprons!
I love wearing aprons while working in the kitchen, as I tend to be a bit messy while baking & cooking! :)

    Blessings!

  14. Aprons remind me of my Grandmother Elsie. She always wore one. My mother NEVER did, and neither do I, but I should! They are lovely hanging up there!

  15. I'm feeling nostalgic...aprons make me think of my mother and grandmother. G'ma always wore one, mother did occasionally. I should wear one more often, it would save my shirts from spatters when I'm frying bacon for BLT's. They're all photo pretty, but the one in the middle looks like it's been freshly pressed. Right? Have a great day!

  19. I just love vintage aprons. The stories they could tell of all the baking, hand-wiping, and garden veggies they've held would be fascinating.

  20. AS soon as I read your subject line I began to hum the pre-school song with the same title! :)

They are all pretty aprons, Vee, and someone is going to be very happy to receive one1

  26. Aprons, ahh a time gone by, the 50s and early 60s. Housewives, homemakers come to mind, when most women didn't work but stayed home to take care of home and family. Can't remember the last time I had an apron on. Let's see, "One of These Not Like the Other". Are you asking for reader's choice? In that case, I'm choosing 2nd from the left, the red and white (polkadot?) one - looks clean and freshly pressed to me!

  27. Now I'm curious. I was busy yesterday and wondered if I've missed something.
I love old aprons too. Yours do look neater than mine. I'm afraid they don't get ironed!

  28. This ought to be fun to see what you're fixin' to do! They are all pretty. I have some old aprons hanging on the back of my kitchen door, too! But I've got room for one more!

  29. Ah visions of Sesame Street and our boys sitting there watching intently:)

Love the colors and your generosity!

Your umbrella story below sounds hilarious - I'm assuming there were no mishaps.

    Enjoy your weekend!
