A rainy day here in my corner. I had hoped to share my new fence, but there's nothing spectacular about a new fence in the rain, though it did mean getting kissed by silver liquid. There is something interesting, if not spectacular, about textures in the rain. So I give you a simple mosaic on a simple rainy day.
Top photo: rain splatter in the ferns
Left to right: ferns (I wanted it to be a moth; It's only a bit of a brown leaf.), deck spindles, iron plant holder handle, new growth on Eastern Spruce
A cooler week, if that's what you need; a wetter week, if that's what you need; a wonderful week either way...

I love your cool green mosaic! We are expecting a thunderstorm here tonight, Vee, and I hope it cools things down a little. The humidity is killing me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rain photos. We need some rain here. It seems to be all around us and skips us completely.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful mosaic Vee. It's raining here too and for most of the week. I'm not happy but am planning visits with special friends to make the week more fun. Pamela
ReplyDeleteThe raindrops are so clear! I feel like I could reach out and touch one! Beautiful photos, Vee! Enjoy your evening! ♥
ReplyDeleteSo cool and green - lovely! I hope we get some cool rain (I think it's on its way).
ReplyDeleteAs for the A&F being smelly - they spray that perfume everywhere there and I don't care for it!
Have a wonderful week!
Such a restful green. Lovely mosaic. V
ReplyDeleteLove that very serene mosaic! Especially the fern.
ReplyDeleteSimple and elegant!! Love it. Take care and have wonderful week:)
ReplyDeleteHi Vee
ReplyDeleteI like your photos, especially the raindrops. I'll still look forward to seeing the fence on a dry day.
Judith
Vee a very beautiful mosaic and verse. I don't know how you captured the raindrop image, just know I love it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful share.....

I'm sure that there will be people all over who will appreciate that cool and moist mosaic - lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the rain splatter on the fern - what a gorgeous photo. I also like the photo of the red daylilies in your prior post. They remind me of the daylilies in my header photo. I took my red daylily photo at someone else's garden; I really would love to have some red ones of my own next year. Have a wonderful week, Vee!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Beth
Beautiful rainy photos...
ReplyDeletewe've had no snow or rain since last Oct.
We are dying out here...well, lots of animals HAVE died..cattle, deer..probably more.
I know HE will send rain when HE is ready..I just hope HE is ready soon. :)

Hi Vee, thanks for visiting. I just rechecked the forecast - Monday, rain, thunder showers. Tuesday sunny. Wed. and Thurs. rain. Friday sunny, chance of thunder showers. Very up and down I'd say. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery creative Vee. I love it. We have rain in Ky. now too. Feels pretty good.

Rainy here today also and very hot and humid. Pulled a few weeds and felt like I was in the tropics. Your mosaic is beautiful - and cool!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rain and cooler weather. (Remember when we were praying for it to stop raining? Now, we wish it would!) Your pictures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHello Vee! Thank you for the comment you left in my blog. It always makes me happy whenever new people visit me. I hope we could develop a connection by following each others blogs. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining the past days in my country too. The pictures you captured, I love them especially the due drops. Have a great day!
What a fantastic mosaic Vee. You sound so happy these days, and you have been truly blessed in so many ways. I love the way you have been posting...your happiness explodes from each one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.
Karen
Each image is just beautiful and together they make a terrific mosaic. Love the rain splatter on the fern.
ReplyDeleteRain, my favorite kind of weather!
ReplyDeleteVee, your mosaic is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteDid you say rain...cooler weather??????? What in the world is that????
Ahhhhh....your sweet rain is exhilarating...

Hooray for cooler temps!

Lovely mosaic! The ferns are beautiful. Rain and cooler weather sounds fine to me right now. As longs as the hot and humid weather goes away.
ReplyDeleteDreamy, green textures in the rain~ I'm wishing we would have some more here!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing quite so peaceful and soothing as ferns and greenery and a calming rainy day. Thank you for sharing this lovliness with us...and creating this beautiful mosaic.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your new fence in the sunshine. We've had tons of rain this summer but it's wonderful to see the growth that's happening and I haven't had to roll up the hose once so that's something. Your mosaic is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is simply lovely. I love every one of those photos for different reasons.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, my friend.
Pretty and cool looking mosaic, Vee. We've had a few small showers here and it's actually supposed to be a bit cooler this week. Yay!! Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaic, Vee. It will be cooler here this week, which we need, and wet again, which we've had a lot of and I wish I could send to Texas where the earth looked cracked with thirst.....I looked out my window this morning and saw a bloom on my magnolia tree. In August. I'm a bit startled by this. Sometimes things bloom out of season in the fall. Is it autumn now? Weather is surely confusing these days.
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty and what a welcoming site it would be down here...but rain or not, heat will be on the menu and I am still going to have a good week.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful week also.
I'll take some of that rain!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a really lovely mosaic. How did capture those droplets?
ReplyDeletelovely leafy textures and raindrops. We have had rain on and off here today. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty!Great shots, especially the one of the rain drops.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and nice comment.
Your rain mosaic is quite a beauty.
ReplyDeleteRain makes for great photos!
Another hot and humid day here though we did get some heavy rain on both Sat and Sun afternoons.
Cooler and wetter please, that would be wonderful indeed. Love the green textures of your photos, just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, what a pretty mosaic. The rain is a welcome sight on this 95 degree day. We will soon be heading for Michigan where the long range forecast calls for the temps to be in the 70s. My husband says that sounds too cold, I say ... bring it on. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Monday.
Smukke billeder.
ReplyDeleteTak for kigget.
Hi Vee,
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty post! I'll take some sliver liquid please...
We are still having heat..icky heat..
I just stay in with the air-con on and sew...Awwwwww
Have a sweet day and hugs, Elizabeth
Hi Vee!
ReplyDeleteLove the rain! And the pictures are so beautiful and green . . . I love green too . . . :0)
Hugs,
Barb
You've captured the beauty of a rainy day in the garden perfectly Vee!
ReplyDeleteRain...what's that? We've actually been enjoying some lovely weather in our corner this past while.
ReplyDeleteI can handle rain-art though...you did a fine job of the rain mosaic!
It's a beautiful mosaic and I love to go out after the rain to look for rain drops!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rain photos! I'm longing for a rainy day!
