Mother's Day 2012 Part 2

I wasn't planning to post today. Then I remembered! It's Note Card Party Week. Mr. Linky will be up tomorrow evening between 8 and 8:30.

One thing is certain, they all know that I love yellow. It is a blessing to get a jump start on decorative flowers to bless the house and deck by.

~Look at them go!~

And the boys gave me a gift of flowers, too!

Did you have a great weekend? I'm coming to visit soon!

  4. Sweet pics of your littles. I've decided - the older one looks like his mom, and the younger one looks like his dad. Just in case you wanted to know... ;)

  9. It looks like mothers everywhere celebrated in the same way...with visits from their children...and flowers. Great photos!

Did the sun shine everywhere yesterday? I'm thinking it did.

  10. Oh Vee these are so great. Thanks for sharing your family with us. I took a few photos at our daughter's house but it rained all day and on top of that left my camera at her house. Getting ready for the card party.

  17. Great photos of a loving and fun-loving family. I can see the mischief in your daughter's eyes!

Yikes, Note Card party already. I'll have to look back and see what I've got. I like this party - it's fun and makes me go through old posts, sometimes wishing for a red editing pencil.

  18. Vee, you are blessed with a beautiful family. What great photos of Mother's Day you have shared. Is that climbing plant a brown-eyed Susan??
I'll be happy when I have posted enough to have enough photos to join your note card party!!!
    Have a nice afternoon.

  19. Those little grands are so cute and getting very big!

I think the climber from your daughter is "Black Eyed Susan vine". I've grown it and loved it - it is an annual here, but nearly perennial in warmer climates!

It grows easily and well and is so cheery!

So glad you had such a great day!

  20. Oh my goodness, I can't believe it's that time already! I'd better get my act together over here.
I think your Mother's Day looks like a very happy day. The Boy Talk mosaic is so cute. The yellow flowers are lovely. I remember planting the vine years ago, but I don't remember what it was called.
Love the tote bag. You must smile every time you see it. Nothing like those handmade children's gifts to warm the heart.

  34. Somehow I missed this post entirely yesterday! Although I am a "follower", your posts do not always come up on my Blogger dashboard (annoying!)...and since I had seen Mosaic Monday, I didn't know to come and look for another. (Grrr...Blogger.) Anyway, I'm glad to see it now, because it is a fabulous post. Love seeing the pictures of your beautiful family...and the flowers...and the tote bag! What grandmother would not treasure such a wonderful, meaningful gift?!
