Unless you're just making piles, and jumping in them. That's fine. :-)
Or can you burn a tiny pile of leaves, over in your state? With a hose nearby of course. No taking chances with starting a big fire!
But oh how I love to remember the smell of burning leaves in the Fall! Oh sigh... It was lovely!
My Grands have never experienced that.
Every year I *threaten* to burn a tiny pile of leaves, on the back patio, with water right there. Let them experience that lovely aroma! Let me experience it again.
I am taking a break from my rake and though I would pop in for a quick look see at what's up with Vee. I love your yellow carpet. I'd be tempted to leave it as is. In case you are wondering it is not leaves I am raking but rocks. Yep, rocks, we are putting in the last of the stone filler around the writing cottage today so I am smoothing out the rocks as handy hubby shovels them in. Still a long way to go to get this area in ship shape. Happy raking!
You are much farther ahead than we are Vee...rake away! I just let them blow around into my neighbors yards....just kidding! LOL. Have a wonderful weekend!
WOW! It really is fall! Hooray! I hope you are going to show off your fall front door or drive by for us on my blog Monday (Sunday night Mr Linky will hopefully be ready!), Vee! It won't be the same with out you!
Why rake yet?
ReplyDeleteLook!
They aren't all down yet!
^_^

Didn't you want to just run around and kick all the leaves into the air? Maybe not when y ou are the one to clear them up.
ReplyDeleteYour Fall decorations look good. We do not do all that.
