Have we been hair before?
As promised, this is the hairafter picture:
Striking difference, say what? Is this what I asked for? Not unless I asked to look like Little Lord Fauntleroy (hope that you can imagine that image), which I didn't.
As for turning around...hahahaha, silly gals!
The trick to going shorter is doing it gradually...try another wack in a month or so, you might be ready by then for a totally fresh new look!
ReplyDeleteturn around...hehe! Vee, Your hair looks so healthy and full of bounce. Don't you just love a good haircut?! I do hope you are enjoying the freshness of it all.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Tuesday,
Jennifer
Your hair looks really nice. Should be easier to manage, yes? Thanks for posting the pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful and healthy both long and shorter! I have yet to get them to turn my hair from curly, short & brown to straight, long and blond!!!!! I don't know what the problem is! I hope you enjoy the new look and that it is easy to keep with spring on its way.
ReplyDeleteHi Vee,
ReplyDeleteI've gone from brown to gray which is why you haven't seen many photos of me on my blog lately. It's great to be free from the trials of hair color but it's taking some getting used to. I need a haircut at some point but the color difference is about all I can take at this point.
Hugs,
Cathie
Oh you are so funny....I love the colours in your hair....very similar to mine I do believe...natural highlights and all.
ReplyDeleteYour hair is so thick and shiny, Vee! I wish you would turn round too!
ReplyDeleteMy hair is long at the moment, and needs a cut and the highlights need urgent attention too, I do believe. Oh well, I just fasten it back or up with a slide and leave it!
Did I say I like the cut very much?? Oops! I do. It must be lovely to feel it skimming your shoulders!
ReplyDeleteMe again....but I would LOVE to see your dear face grinning back at us too!. Please???
ReplyDeleteI like your bob Vee and would love to see it from the front.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness the color and length of my hair no longer is an issue with me. I finally let it all go white and cut it short and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI bet you do what Thoughts suggested is to go shorter gradually. You're looking good.

You crack me up. It looks so great from the back. I can't imagine that Little Lord Fauntleroy is on the other side. Are you sure you don't want to prove it?
ReplyDeleteNo fair, we always show all sides of our posts in blogland. You know all the different angles and light effects....please! Looks very cute from this angle!
ReplyDeleteYou have nice thick bouncy hair, Vee. I bet it feels good! It's not as short as you cut it last time is it, if I remember correctly. You're very lucky to have such nice thick hair. I can tell mine is getting thinner the older I get. My Nan had to get a wig. She was almost bald. EEk! That's scary - how would I look bald on my blog profile????? ;p
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks so pretty, nice and thick. I like it long!
ReplyDeleteIF you told the stylist to please even it off, at shoulder length... Then it is perfect.
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't say that, I guess it is not perfect.
So, what DID you tell the stylist you wanted?
And now stop crying over having such a great head of hair! We who never had thickness or waves, and who now have more thinness than wanted, do not like to listen to thick-haired-people moan. -gigggggggggggggggggggggggggles-
-ducking, running and hiding-
^-^
It looks lovely from the back although you did pull a fast one but not showing us the front!
ReplyDeleteI love it Vee!!! I'm still sporting my recession hack job and putting off spending the money at the hairdresser, but you do notice that I WILL spend my money on junk...so does that make my hair-do lower than junk? Well, I guess it does!!! Don't sweat it about the image thing...good grief. People get their panties in a wad over the dumbest things!!!! hugs and love, Dawn
ReplyDeleteOH such body and so much hair . .I envy you that dear girl.
ReplyDeleteVee, you crack me up! ....so funny. The new do looks great. Unfortunately you know how bad my eyes are since I couldn't read the amount of your gift cert. If my recession hair got as long as yours (wish mine were as thick as yours), I would just take the scissors and chop it off myself! LOL. I regularly do that with my bangs. But it's about time for my quarterly visit. Hope you enjoy yours!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Christi
I love the new length. It looks healthy and thick and full of body. What's not to love?
ReplyDeleteAnd you just remember something, woman...one day in the waaaaaay distant future, your grandkids and great-grandkids are going to wish you'd let people take more pictures of your lovely face so they could have your visage to gaze upon with fond memories and love. I'm just sayin'....
Actually, someone once said that to me when I was pitching a fit to NOT have my picture taken and it kind of stuck with me. When you're cringing about having your picture taken, just remember you're doing it for those who love you. :)
Now post a forward facing pic for those of US who love you, too.
lol

I wish I had such great thick hair! I'll bet it's lovely..lightened up your while being..just think, you couidlook like MY past haircuts! lol
ReplyDeleteLOL, I like it! We'll leave the flip side to our imagination, I guess!
ReplyDeleteVee, I LOVE your hair....long or shoulder length. It is beautiful and think and healthy....I have very little hair....since I was 13 and now at 56, I still dread getting a hair cut. I had a health issue and it never grew back.
ReplyDeleteSo rejoice in your beautiful head of hair!
xoxo

It looks very pretty from the back Vee! I think that is a versatile length as you can still pull it up or back when you want to.
ReplyDeleteI have so much gray now that I have to add color to my hair.I take after my dad who all gray at 45. I'm not ready for gray hair as yet. Maybe when I'm 65 ;-)
The front may not be all you hoped for, oh woman of mystery, but the back is just lovely! Thanks for sharing the haircut. I hope it will "grow on you". ~Kathy
ReplyDeleteIf I were you I would be bobbing my head around to feel it bounce! I love it just after I make a change like this. Your head feels so light...
ReplyDeleteNow, I need to do something with mine. I am a mess!!!
bravo! it's beautiful, thick and bouncy...just
ReplyDeletelike those infernal breck girl!
don't you feel free?
Your hair looks so very much like my mother's...and I love hers. Turning around to see the front, and your beautiful face would have been great too! Have an awesome day!
ReplyDeleteI love it! It looks very classy. Your hair is just beautiful - so thick. Lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteWow, I certainly didn't picture you with long hair. I pictured a short pixie kind of cut. Hmm... I'm growing mine out. MY DH loves long hair.
ReplyDeleteIs the snow expected in your area too?
Leann
1) This comment is "safe." ,-)
ReplyDelete2) Very nice pic over on "Grilling."
3) Someone commented over there, that she'd been reading you a long time, but never saw your face. Hmmmmm... I've been reading you a long time, too. And I have seen your pretty face, before now. :-)
^_^
I think you have beautiful hair vee! It seems like you could do a lot with it. It looks thick and bouncy. Very unlike my very fine hair. What a nice cut.
ReplyDeleteOK - is this the same blue shirt you wore in your interview photo? JOHN'S shirt!? LOL! =)
ReplyDelete~ Leah

I love the new haircut! I only wish there was a way to get my hair looking so thick and full of body. Really it looks great - and you don't have to turn around, I know there's a dear face on the other side.
ReplyDeleteVee, that looks like a great cut! Your hair is so thick!
