At least I appear to be happy with the one taking the picture. That would be true and leads to the next question: Who is he?
Ever take a photo and find that you've captured something very special? I do quite often...a raindrop, a bee, Marilyn Monroe in the moon (and you think that I'm kidding!)
Do you see what I've caught?
Stay tuned, there'll be more to share on this in the days ahead, which will answer the question "Why have you been shopping so much?"
Hope that everybody is enjoying a wonderful weekend!
ETA: I wasn't kidding!
Are you naturally curly? Lucky you!!! I think it looks fabulous, front and back...
ReplyDeleteYour flowers look amazing, too. :)
xoxo,
Mary
Fantastic picture of a very beautiful farm girl working in her lovely back yard. Such a joy to be able to work with her.
ReplyDeleteoh boy. . .the tease continues in the comments. snicker. .
ReplyDeleteSo, Vee, it seems you have gorgeous thick curly hair. . and the complaint is? Have you tucked one side behind your ear? It seems to me that it would look a bit coy?
Well, i for one will be back to hear the news, which it seems is forthcoming.
Your hair is really cute.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you're so subtle at dropping hints of further episodes in "Life with Vee".

so.... he is taking time to smell the roses?.... or is a gardener?... either of those is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteOh Vee, seems as though you've stirred the pot a bit here in the land of blog!!! We are all just sitting on the edge of our seats dear friend!! Your hair is adorable and I love the soft curls. I love seeing your smiling face too!!! What a wonderful profile pic, right?? Ok go shopping with him but when you get back you MUST tell us more!
ReplyDeletexxoo, Dawn
I like your hair too and you have such a nice smile.
ReplyDeleteYou have us all in supense. I can't wait to tune in for more! :-)
I do love your daylilies by the way. So festive...and your friend?
ReplyDeleteYou look mahvelous dalling!
ReplyDeleteLove reading your blog daily!
Ahh Hah! :D...as "anonymous" said, you are a very beautiful farm girl, by chance is he smelling some roses? :).
ReplyDeleteYour hair has grown so much, so quickly, it makes me want to get a perm!. When my hair gets too frizzy there is a wonderful product pantene makes called pro-v restoratives frizz control. It's a very small bottle and a bit spendy but it's worth every penny and you use only a dot!
I do hope you've been shopping for the proper attire for a new position :).
So much suspense today :).
OH THE SUSPENSE.........Vee, you look beautiful! I'm busting but not from curiousity. I can't wait to hear what's next from you. Keep smiling in the meantime. It's been a lovely weekend here in Vermont.....hope it's been as lovely where you are! ~Kathy
ReplyDeleteYou just thought we weren't here... but here we are, and I for one think your hair is soft, feminine, and beautiful. And I love getting to put a beautiful face with my bloggy friend's name.
ReplyDelete:-) I'll be checking back,
Christi
I CAN'T STAND SUSPENSE!!!!! I am banging that crutch on the floor as I speak. Did I mention patience is not one of my virtues?????
ReplyDeleteJust as well I am on the other side of the pond! I think I can guess. I hope I am right. And you are beautiful, Vee, and so is the hair. The garden is stunning too.
I am now doomed to hourly internet checks. This is playing havoc with my life on the couch. Not to mention the knee. Hobbling to the computer every hour is CRUEL! (Hahahahaha - that may make her tell us sooner, girls)
'The hair' is great!!! Softly curly. Very feminine. What's not to like, silly Woman. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes I saw what you 'caught.' But it's even less revealing than the 'carrying the picnic basket' one.
Oh well, I have learned that you LUVVVVV to tease. It's you. And I accept that. {To tease, is also a feminine thing, so why wouldn't I accept it?}

VEE!!! It was so good to put a face to the name! You are very pretty and I love your full head of curls and waves. I have similar hair but it changed a little after I went through some thyroid issues a few years ago,and the gray multiplied. I get it colored every 6 weeks as I am not ready to surrender to the gray as yet.
ReplyDeleteYep -- I see who you captured in the photo ;-) Very interesting "gardener"
I love Marilyn in the moon! Fantastic shot! I hope you don't mind but I'm sending that to my daughter who is a big Marilyn Monroe admirer.
Thanks!
Hugs, Pat
Lots of comments...you've definitely piqued our interest...your window box and lilies planted below are just beautiful. Have a wonderful remainder of the weekend...can't wait for the other shoe to drop.
ReplyDeleteOk what's going on? We're all chomping at the bit here. You're keeping us in suspense! Just a little tease of distinguished looking grey peeking through those flowers - hmmmmmm....
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks lovely and thick and curly! People pay alot of money to get their hair to look like that! & you look extremely happy - what a great smile! Vickie
Vee,
ReplyDeleteThe hair looks great, but the smile just says it all. I detect a little romance in the air. Is that a new variety of blossom I seen in your garden? Perhaps it is the bloom of love? Oh I do hope so!
I think your hair is great!! Mine is so thin and fine and I would sit up all night and look at my hair if it looked like yours. You are very pretty and I am glad to see you. I love Marilyn in the moon. Yes, why are you shopping so much? Are you going on a big trip?
ReplyDeleteLove your curls, Vee!
ReplyDeleteYou are a big tease though with all of your hints! Can't wait for the big reveal, whatever it is!
xoxo
Hope you had a great weekend, I was away at the beach! BLISSFUL!!!
You look so pretty...and so do all your flowers..
