Slipping Zoom Settings

Zoom level: 100%

Got myself quite an education yesterday when my zoom settings slipped. I saw what some of you have been privately complaining to me about. Hmmm... Well, I still like my background and will keep it *through Valentine's Day, but I admit that it's busy when you see that much of it. Personally, I can't handle the zoom level at anything less than 160%. What do you keep your zoom setting on?

Zoom level: 160%

Have a great weekend and enjoy the Super Bowl, if you're planning to watch. Are you?

*Edited to Add: Oh my! I had no idea the can of worms this would open. I hasten to add that I decided to change it rather than risk losing readers. Not over some silly background. This still isn't what I want, but I'll have to check into it further. Tried doing my own background and nearly lost my blog. Yikes! Closing comments for now and DON'T email me either. ☺

  1. Chelsea and I agree that the background is really cute.

    Have a great day, Vee.

  2. I like your background. But, zoom setting? Where is that?

No, I am not watching the Super Bowl. Please don't shoot me, but I really truly dislike football.

  3. I think that's what mine is set on, too, Vee.

And yes, we're having a SuperBowl party for our church singles group at our house. Don't know why, the Cowboys are not in it, so why bother? haha! I probably won't get much watching in as I'll be in the kitchen most of the time. But if I have to pick a team, then we're rootin' for the Saints!

  4. I love your back ground and I don't think it's to much at all. It's beautiful. I usually keep my zoom setting on 150. I hope you have a great weekend ♥

  5. Super bowl? Is that an Olympic event? Smile. I always like the food that accompanies Super Bowl games!

  6. Guess mine is set at 160% because that is what I see, on my monitor. What you showed, over the 160%.

Someone besides me has been "complaining"???? Quelle Horror! I thought I was the only one with enough... You know, those brass things... to complain!!! >,-) Others have said your Background is busy?!? >,-)

Yes Sweetness, it is busy. To me. So I don't pick that kind of a Background, for my blog.

But a lot of bloggers do like busy Backgrounds, because there are many, in Blog Land.

But there are many not-busy Backgrounds too. So, I guess, we all get to choose what we want for our own blog.

Every time I click on your blog now... Backgrounds take a second to load and one can seeeeeee it. And in that preliminary second, your blog shows up as all White, with that simply lovely Header. And I smile! A happy smile.

Then the Background loads. And all the plaid and the sort of tan shows up. -sigh- :-) You brought it up! I am saying this because you brought it up! Can't blame me.<--That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! >,-)

Yes, we "do" Super Bowl. We have people over and they bring "pot luck" though. :-)

  8. Hey, I don't know what zoom I use either...grin...but I put it on large print cause these eyes aint what they used to be. The only thing I find with backgrounds is that they take so much longer to load....but yours is beautiful!

  9. Vee,

Are you having trouble with the writing portion of your blog? Mine keeps sliding into teeny tiny writing these last few posts. I have checked my computer settings and my web browser settings and can't clear it up. I am wondering if it is something with Blogger. It is making me crazy not to mention giving me eye strain!

I happen to love your cheerful background and it does not bother me a bit while viewing.

No super bowl here unless the count the one of ice cream I plan to have ;c) Not a football fan but now ice cream, that is a whole other thing!

    Have a super weekend!

  11. I think your background is very pretty, Vee. You have to do what you like, as it's your blog :-)

My eyes are not what they used to be so I usually set the zoom at 150 if I'm able. I make enough errors because I can't see or type..lol..so I'm glad I'm not a perfectionist!

Yes, I'll be watching the Superbowl and rooting for The Saints. I always root for the underdogs.

    Have a good weekend!

  12. I love your new background! I've been changing my blog but it can be frustrating sometimes! lol And YES, I will watch the Super Bowl! I love football! ♥

  13. I keep my zoom at 100%. If I go above that, then your blog text bleeds over onto the background. That is not a pretty look, LOL!

  14. Well Vee as you know I love you and your blog b ut I have to be honest and say that I do not like these busy backgrounds one bit. They take longer to load but also distract from the blog I think. I personally want the interest to come from my blog and not the background.

Of course I would never have mentioned it if it had not come up for discussion here.
Have no idea of the Zoom you are talking about. Am I missing something.
