These weeks are passing by so very quickly!
Following what has become the staple format:
1. Top of Fridge...I'm just now realizing that what I wanted to show is being covered by my fussy design...check #8. Frosty the Pumpkin found his new home up there, too.
2. A calendar pic by Laura Berry centered on fridge...it needed something...
4. My poor mother trying to relax in the midst of chaos... I didn't even pick up the table for you!
5. Vintage bulbs in the midst of the spring wreath
6. A spring bulb...pardon the play on words...a single spring with a vintage ornament on top
7. Spring wreath decorated with silk poinsettias for a different look. (My wreath doesn't fit on my front door as I'd hoped...not enough room between the storm door and the main door.)
8. Leftover springs slapped together and tossed on top of the fridge.

Have a wonderful week...

You make the most beautiful mosaics! I'm joining in this week! Hugs! ♥
ReplyDeleteVee,
ReplyDeleteHow unusual, I love the spring wreath, really cool and you could use it for so many holidays with a quick change of embellishment. I actually got a tad of decorating done this afternoon, hope to share soon. Have a wonderful rest filled evening!
It is looking very cozy at your home Vee...

Pretty mosaic, Vee -- it looks so cozy and festive there. I still have some glass icicles and beaded things to drape on the branches of the living room tree. Family room tree is finished. Many of the Santas are on display, but shall I put out others?
ReplyDeleteEverything is so pretty, Vee. Hope your Mother is doing well. Enjoyed your spring wreath!
ReplyDeleteOh Vee, your home always looks so warm and inviting! Thanks for sharing your talents at MM. :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful mosaic, your home is lovely! Love how your mom is relaxed and comfy :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful decorations. We don't usually get but a dusting of snow each month so no real need for plows altho the town has 14 but not quite enough for unusual amounts of snow!

Thank you for the "long-view" of your rooms. I love to see the lay-out, of homes. 'Cause I'm a *Set Freak*! And our homes, are our own *sets,* are they not? :-)
ReplyDeleteFeelin' better? Or just walking the walk? Either way, it's good.
Gentle Winter hugs...
What beautiful mosaics. LOvely Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw your title today I was worried that you had decided to skip Christmas altogether and head into spring instead. Boy was I in for a surprise. I love your spring wreath. What a cute idea.

ReplyDeleteIt's just beautiful, Vee. What a warm feeling from it all....One of the wooden chairs looks like my one my grandmother had and I really wonder whatever became of it. Your mother doesn't look as though "chaos" is bothering her at all!

What a delightful looking home. It looks fresh and warm at the same time. I don't know if that is possible, but that is my first impression of those photos.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks very festive, Vee!
ReplyDeleteI am just beginning to decorate -- bought our tree yesterday after we woke up from our nap -- we landed at 6AM after flying the red eye home from Denver and went right to bed to sleep.
I love the "spring wreath" idea.
Where did you find the springs to make that? I missed a few of your posts while away so I'll go read to see if you already answered that question.
I do not know how to do a mosaic, but sure enjoy the beauty you bring forth into yours. Your decor is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteChristmas hugs & wishes ~
