Hopefully, I can be forgiven for sharing nothing but autumnal scenes in the past few weeks. Though we are a week past peak foliage, it's still a beautiful world out there. These photos were taken on a hill named M*egquier overlooking a lake to the east and the White Mountains of New Hampshire to the west. (There's one lonely photo of Mt. Washington to the right just above the church.)
How's the view in your corner? Don't worry, I'll be visiting to find out!

It is all so Country beautiful. I love the picture of the church.
ReplyDeleteWonderful mosaic with beautiful colors of autumn shots.
ReplyDeleteTruly spectacular photos. NO need to apologize for those glorious shots. Wow!
ReplyDeleteOur neck of the woods isn't nearly as lovely as your photographs portray! We've been suffering a drought this year and our trees haven't been nearly as bright and colorful as previous years. Thankfully we had a little storm today with a soaking rain which we need. All the leaves are dull brown and falling from the trees quickly! Our yard looks terrible!

ReplyDeleteJust wonderful! We are just about to hit peak here along the coast. Or maybe we are right now ... it's hard to tell. LOL!

ReplyDeleteVee, Your pictures are beautiful and you show such a variety of scenery and subjects. Even though you say the colors are past their prime, your photos look so pretty. You've definitely captured "fall." Thanks for visiting tonight.
ReplyDelete:-) Sue
Who could ever tired of all the beautiful foliage. We're soaking in the beauty to store up for the grey months.
ReplyDeleteThere's a Mt. Washington on our little island, too!
If only everyone would share beautiful fall photos! I never ever tire of them.
ReplyDeleteWho could compete with a blue New Hampshire sky, fall foliage and the pretty white buildings?
ReplyDeleteThere is no place more beautiful at this time of year than New England! Wonderfully blue skies & brilliant hues in the leaves. I NEVER get tired of looking at such photos.

Thanks for stopping by - glad I made you laugh. We were at the fair the first day and it was a beautiful day.
Carol
I love your mosaics - the colors are simply divine. We still have a few trees that haven't even started to change and others that have completely lost their leaves.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day my friend!
Leann
Hi Vee,
ReplyDeleteI love looking at Fall scenes, and I linger because I know that the season is so short. I have a great big red tree that I can see outside my window as I type this comment. I just love it all!
Karen
Vee...everyone of those photos are spectacular and in your Mosaic, they are Stunning! Love the church photo. Thanks for visiting CollectInTexas Gal to see my Pumpkin Display.
ReplyDeleteIt's Autumn! Why wouldn't we share autumnal scenes? :-) If we don't live in each present season, where shall we live?
ReplyDeleteAnd 'tis the time of year, when we need to savor every colorful leaf, which is left. Non too soon, all the leaves will be gone. And we'll be left with the look of bareness.
In Nov., this new bareness can be accompanied by rain too. Brrrrrrrrr... I feel that this coming time, is the time when I really have to search for niceness in a season. -sigh- 'Cause it doesn't look all too "nice" outside then.
Perhaps that's why I'm getting more into the "Cozy Season" feeling.....? Autumn beauty is still around, but I'm kind of preparing myself for the almost desolation of November.
Mmmm, sounds like a posting idea for me, doesn't it? There you go again Vee, inspiring me with posting ideas. And do I ever neeeeed 'em!
Gentle hugs...
You can show as many gorgeous photos as you like. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Becky K.
Gorgeous photos in your mosaic Vee! The sky is so blue. I enjoyed seeing the peak of Mt Washington on the horizon since we once took a memorable drive up to the top of it!
ReplyDeleteAll of New England is so scenic -- especially this time of the year!
Beautiful scenes each and everyone.
ReplyDeleteI scrolled through you blog and found it delightful. the pic in the bottle is a clever idea. I may borrow it. Thanks.
thanks for visiting my blog. MB
I love the autumn scenes! As a matter of fact, I appreciate them more than I can express. We don't have much of that here and your autumn posts are a blessing. We're suppose to have several inches of snow this week. Guess it's about time to turn on the furnace.
ReplyDeleteWe never tire of beautiful scenery and your's is colorful and vibrant.. many great pictures
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! You take wonderful pictures Vee!
ReplyDeleteWe have rain here today, but this past weekend was glorious. We had a fire outside with friends Friday evening. The rain storm this morning knocked a lot more leaves off the trees.
Hugs,
Penny
Since Autumn is so fleeting, I say we should enjoy every last golden drop, for all too soon it will all fade to grey.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are extraordirnary, I love the crisp blue sky:-)
Rhonda
Beautiful fall mosaic. Lots of comments today!
ReplyDeleteBTW the library movie we watched was Shadow of the Vampire with John Malkovich. Very strange movie!!! I think I liked it! :-)
A montage of autumn eye candy, and I do so like charming churches and cemeteries. We don't get these fall colors here in the Philippines, so this was totally delightful. I enjoyed my scroll down your blog too. Thanks, Vee.
ReplyDelete[Come back one day when I post something prettier, okay ;-) ]
