A Haven for Vee

The Nor'easter ripped through and wiped out my internet connection. (I'm posting from my son's computer.) So, until my connection is up and at'em, it's over and out for me.

The good news is, according to this morning's political cartoon, the wind blew away a lot of political signs. :D

Hope to see you soon; behave yourselves now...

  1. Hope that connection is back soon and that the wind doesn't blow anything else away. Political signs...now that is probably for the better....lol

  2. Will be eagerly awaiting your return!

  3. I've read about "nor'easters" but have never experienced one. I guess we just call them windstorms, but nor'easter evokes a more poetic image, probably because of reading about them in novels. (of which I can't think of one right now)

Anyway, I hope your connection to the rest of us is up soon.

  4. I heard you had a storm up your way! Batten down the hatches and get connected back when you can. And were' supposed to behave? Nah, that's no fun at all!

  5. Stephanie was driving on the Mass Pike when the N'easter was going strong. She said the winds were very strong.

Hmmm... it would be worth it to me if the political signs were all down.

  6. Now that we know how many blogs you read each day, maybe it's God's way of telling you to take a break. ;-)

I hope you enjoy the down time.

  7. I wondered what was going on with you. Wow, you really did get a STORM, hu?

Thank you for getting to your son's computer and filling us in. When people usually post daily, we "wonder."

And we know that, and so it's doubly hard when we are off Line. 'Cause we want to be able to tell our Dear Readers, that we really are ok.

    Gentle hugs...

  8. Well they say there's always a silver lining:)

Sorry to hear about your internet though. Hope that you're up and running again soon.

  9. Oh no, I hope it won't be long until you are back in business. In the meantime you will be missed.
I would be happy if there was a wind storm that would blow those political ads off of my tv. LOL.

  10. i WRITE TO YOU DEEP IN THE HEART OF DIXIE! Or Alabama to be precise and so glad its no worse than a lost internet connection, my dear Vee! I do hope you're up and at em soonest!!! hugs

  11. Oh, I'm sorry about the storm and you losing your internet connection! But I can't help but smile (ahem, smirk is more like it) about those political signs!Especially in your neck of the woods!

  12. I'm laughing...about the political signs. That's one way to clean up the landscape in a hurry!

Sorry about the severed connection...and hope it is repaired soon.

  13. Thank you for finding a way to check in. I try to check in daily and was concerned. Glad to know you're okay.

  14. Hope your back on line soon.
Good news about those political signs though! :-)

  15. Hope it gets fixed soon. We had no internet connection Thursday and Friday because it was really windy (I guess) - that's the only reason we can come up with :)

  16. I wish something would blow the some of the political signs away from down here.Too much "hot" air blowing around.
Hope you didn't have to much damage,

  17. We were in Connecticut this weekend, Vee, enjoying some New England flavor. We experienced soem of the ewnd effects of the storm but today was beautiful!

Hope you get your internet service back soon!

  18. Beautiful mosaic with colors of autumn.
