For flowers and sunshine, I'll have to look at pictures this week as it'll be rainy and cold throughout. These will do nicely and I'm sure that I'll find many delights when visiting your blog on Mary's Mosaic Monday tour.
Pictured are azaleas, bleeding hearts, tall phlox (with a grandson), fuschia, and some unknown flower in the top left corner.

Playing with mosaics is so much fun., I had to add another. Now if I just play with the photography a little...
Enjoy the tour!
I love Bleeding hearts. Used to have them in Michigan. They won't grow here...or if they do, it would be a fantastic gardner!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I have always adored bleeding hearts. What a unique plant!
ReplyDeleteThose are so beautiful -- they remind me of my grandmother's house.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. The unknown one is particularly captivating!
ReplyDeletePretty photos today...Vee. I am always surprised to still see parts of the country cold and rainy...it will soon be so HOT here one can barely stand it!!

Lovely blooms and a handsome grandson. Have a delightful week.
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the design of your mosaics and the flowers you included in them. I am a bokeh nut, too. I think it adds so much to a close up shot. Your photos are lovely. Wonderful captures.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, Vee. I was here earlier this weekend but unable to comment for some reason. Crazy blogger! (the site, I mean!) I hope you have a great week. I've seen the forecast for Central Vermont. Sounds like you and I will be wet most of the week.....Stay cozy. ~Kathy
ReplyDeleteHi Vee
ReplyDeleteIt would appear most of us will be having rain this week, including me in Ontario.
Your unknown looks like a malva
(mallow)of some type.
Nice mosaic.
Judith
Bonkers for Bokeh should be the name for a new Linky Party!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all of your glorious photos!!! Have a beautiful week!!!
The pink and blue that follow the yellows of early spring are so restful to the eye - lovely mosaic.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers ...beautiful mosaics. I need to learn how to do mosaics.
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaics Vee and a cute grandson examining the flowers! the leaves on our trees are just popping out now and it will be weeks before we see flowers like yours. Thanks for sharing your flower garden.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers! Can't wait to see the fuchsias here!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers! and a handsome grandson, too :) Enjoyed the mosaics, and looks like he's enjoying the spring blooms as well!
ReplyDeleteTiny dancers..the pink lovelies! All of the color and the shapes..wonderful! It's still been too chilly & wet here for many flowers to bloom..I'm certain we'll be complaining about the heat soon..but right now it seems like it would be good!
ReplyDeleteI just got back form Chicago where it was in the 50's and rainy and windy. I loved visiting that city, though!
ReplyDeleteYour flower mosaics are so pretty, Vee. I've always liked Bleeding Hearts as the blossoms look like little ballerina dancers to me. Your grandson's photo was the sweetest "flower" of them all!
They are perfect, just as they are. Love that little guy in the mix.
ReplyDeleteHave a glorious week!
Lovely photos. I believe the one in the top left corner is a mallow.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet spring-mosaics. Really wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOh my! your flowers are so lovely! I especially love the depth of color of you rhododendron! Wishing you well! And thanking you for your visit! Cathy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love your new header, too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty mosaic. Love the fuscia. V
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers. I love fuscia and bleeding hearts. We are in the 50's here today too!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Penny
Vee,
ReplyDeleteI love the composition, colors, and subject of this weeks mosaic! My favorite bit that sweet grand of yours peeking out of the flowers, adorable. Thank you for the bit of beauty this dreary Monday morning!
Beautiful flowers!! We have only a few things blooming here yet, I'm just itching to get the rest of the garden in. I'm glad you stopped by my blog.
ReplyDeleteSame here just looking at the flowers, cold again and rainy. I need some petunias bad. Been waiting for two weeks to put some out. Great job on your mosaic.
ReplyDeleteQMM
I've never had a bleeding heart, need to get one of those, they are beautiful! Your mosaic is beautiful...
ReplyDeleteHope you week is wonderful. :)
Lovely flowers ! Perfect photos ! And, the little one, is such a treasure !
ReplyDeleteJust beeeeeeeeeeutiful!!! Gorgeous even!!! Lovely, lovely effect!!!
ReplyDeleteBOKEH!!!!!! That is the term, which I can never remember! Clear up close, and muted at a distance. Or visa versa.
YOU are now in charge of reminding me of the proper photography term [Bokeh] for this lovely photography method. :-)
Mmmmmmmmmmmm..... Soooooooooo... Since you can do these delicious mosaics..... Will you please try making some, for your Header Pic?
Please.
Pretty please.
Pretty please with sugar on it...
You can make a mosaic, so it "fits" the wide-but-not-deep size, which you seem to prefer, for your Header... Actually, one's Header can be a lot deeper, than you usually do them. But that is an individual choice.
Please keep more Bokeh-play in mind, for Header play... during the rest of this rainy weeek! :-)
~♥~
Pretty mosaics, Vee. And such a cute grandson. We used to have a bleeding heart plant, but that was before hubby was trained to not mow down or till up the flowers!
ReplyDeleteYou must have gotten the weather we've had...chilly and rainy. I've had to stop planting for a while. Still have several pots to get done.
Beautiful pictures! It's going to be rainy here all week, too, so these pictures bring some sun and color to my eyes today. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYour sun and flower mosaics are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSun out here now but rain is supposed to be coming. We've had a mix of rain and sun the last few days and will continue like that all week.
How pretty and creative...the flowers are just wonderful, and of course, the grandson just makes it all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSunny here in the 70's unusually cool for May.
Love the little flowering grandson!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous mosaics! It is so nice to see color in the landscape. I really want to add some bleeding hearts to my beds. I'm afraid my wishes exceed my pocket book! I want three of everything!!! Nancy H
ReplyDeleteI wish we had more flowers blooming around here...it is once again raining...where oh where is spring?! :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
~Nadine
Such a beautiful mosaic. I love all the pink flowers and that little speck of blue is the sweetest "flower" of all.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty mosaic! Bleeding Hearts are one of my favorite flowers!
ReplyDeleteManuela
Vee, is it possible that your unknown flower is a Malva? They come in several shades and are an old favorite cottage garden flower.

If I had a better picture of the leaf, I could help you more.

I had to google that...bokeh. Now I know! Good job...on the mosaics.
ReplyDeleteI feel your misery. We have a very wet weather forecast as well! We wait!
I love the bright colors of your flowers and adding your grandson's pic is perfect! I love making mosaics, too! I better get busy for next week! I missed this one! Hugs! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love your mosaics! It makes me ALMOST want to get in there and figure out how to do that... almost! In the meantime, I'll just enjoy yours! :)
ReplyDeletePlaying with mosaics IS so fun, yours are gorgeous! LOVE those bleeding hearts *sigh*...
ReplyDeleteThese are great mosaics and the photos are very pretty! Bess
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely!!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to learn how to do these mosaics better. Is there a trick (or site) to it?
Barb
Barbara, I use Photoscape, which is a free program that can be downloaded from a number of locations. Mary also has wonderful directions on her sidebar for the creation of mosaics. All the best!
