"The Hand" draws again
And Suzanne of At Home with the Farmer's Wife wins!
This is Suzanne's sweet comment on my Fake Out post:
Dear Vee,
It's all about how we frame things....... photos, thoughts, our lives. If the whole picture is not exactly dramatic or noteworthy then we should look closer at the details.
Tell your family that we love to follow the goings-on in Maine, no matter how ordinary it may seem!!
I am a blogger. I have a blog. I don't share without permission and I'm so happy that you've reached 1,000 posts.
What makes this a great giveaway. The mystery! I love a good mystery and this allows me to make up my own story about what you're up to.

Oh, I am so glad that Suzanne loves a mystery because I'm still not clear about where I'm going or what I'm "up to." I do know this: I shall not be sewing as Suzanne is an excellent seamstress. Though, even now, a few thoughts are coming.
Be watching, Suzanne. An adventure is coming your way.
Lucky Suzanne. : )
ReplyDeleteI love Suzanne's comments AND that she's a great seamstress. I can understand why Vee says so many great things about you, Suzanne. Congratulations on winning!
ReplyDeleteThat was a great comment from Suzanne. Congrats to her. I love checking in with you every day to see what you are up to.
ReplyDeleteQMM
Congratulations to Suzanne!
ReplyDeleteAnd I like the way she thinks... "It's all in how we frame things..." Wisdom there! And I must go over to her blog and tell her so. :-)
Why hold onto a compliment, is what I say? Hand 'em out! Everyone of us loves "strokes"!
And you Dear Vee, are just toooooo fancy with your photo stuff! Wow, what an effect! Wow!
Don't say I can do it too, because I can't easily find the programs which allow such photo-fun.... Ones made for a Mac that is. :-) But that's OK. It just makes me work harder, on the stuff I can do.
"It's all about how we frame things..." I love that!
Gentle hugs..
And Please let me explain...
How exciting for Suzanne. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteOh, how exciting. Congratulations to Suzanne.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Suzanne, can't wait to find out what it is!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Suzanne, well said, you certainly deserve the win. Vee, will you share the adventure headed Suzanne's way with us? I just love adventures!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Suzanne. I know you will do very well by her. It should be interesting...hope you'll share....
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!! I am SO surprised and excited to be part of a mystery.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo effect you have used and of course, you know I love the low tech method of drawing names.
You made my day dear Vee.
Congratulations to Suzanne! She *did* leave a great comment! :)

Congrats to the winner!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winner and kudos to you for using such a cute photo editing option on the photo of the hands. Isn't it fun have such crafty options that create at at click of a button?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Susanne!
ReplyDeleteYay for Suzanne!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Suzanne and to you, Vee, for sharing yourself on your blog for a 1,000 posts! I'm looking forward to the next 1,000 posts!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the lucky winner! Darn it, I missed that post, LOL. I got tied up and behind on reading blogs, and then overlooked it.
ReplyDeleteIn any event, I am delighted that I stumbled on to your blog many moons ago. I'm raising my diet coke up in the air and toasting your continued good cheer for another 1000+ posts!
This has nothing to do with this post but everything to do about dessert. :)
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate cherry cake on my recipe blog does use a german chocolate cake mix with canned cherry pie filling! It uses one less egg but I thought three was better.
That cake would be fine without the icing and much like the one with apple pie filling, great with whipped cream or ice cream.
I have gained five pounds at least just writing about food today.
How fun for Suzanne - love her outlook!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Auntie - love the photo effect.
Have a great evening!
Leann
It's wonderful to "Meet" people who have similar thoughts about blogging. Suzanne will be waiting with great anticipation for her "adventure".
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 1000 posts, Vee! It's not just your fun posts about life in Maine that makes you so special. It's the countless number of comments you have left, encouraging the rest of us to share our lives. Thanks for your blogland friendship. I'm looking forward to hearing what's next!
