This is an experiment that I was trying out yesterday. I think it needs more work so I'll keep trying. I have been fretting over life's storms and real storms...tornados and earthquakes, snow and rain, which accounts for the selected words. Sometimes all we have are simple words and prayers.
Vee. ..not a dud at all. I think it is simple and beautiful and the selected words are indeed appropriate for the storms.
ReplyDeleteA dud? I think it's beautiful!

By the way, I love your seasonal header. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThis would make a lovely greeting card, Vee. I like the background and the photo and the words are very reassuring.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with those in Joplin, Missouri, this morning. Another terrible tornado :(
Another termed-dud mosaic. You are so funny. :-)
ReplyDeleteWill you do this every week? Show the one which WORKED...? And then show the one which isn't quite working like you wanted...? Cute idea.
I wish you comfort from whatever *words-sentiments* work, for you.
That, and not looking much at "The News." More of the idea of... "I can't do anything about the horrors, so I *should* not dwell on them." Or whatever.
~♥~
I've been doing it for a long time, Aunt Amelia. Where have you been? LOL! ;>
ReplyDeleteNot watching the news is not an option; not watching so much is.
A mosaic of words. Not a dud at all. : )
ReplyDeleteI think your "dud" is lovely, Vee. It looks like a Hall.mark card. With all that's going on in the world today, what better words to dwell upon. I often wonder how folks for whom these words have no meaning cope during the literal and personal storms of life.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to keep our minds focused on the Lord!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Deanna
Not a dud in my book...it is beautiful Vee.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Penny
How can this be a dud? I love it! It must have been lots of fun to experiment with this.
ReplyDeleteVee..... this is so beautiful, not a dud at all!
ReplyDeleteWe need to cling to the words of assurance.
Hugs,
It's beautiful, Vee and a wonderful way to express your feelings! We all feel overwhelmed at times with everything going on in the world around us. This is a lovely way to show how much you care! ♥
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to be so artistic and creative. I love that your blog is ever changing, keeps it different and interesting. My heart and prayers goes to those who have suffered and lost so much in Joplin, Missouri. They will rebuild their homes and their lives, making them stronger.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty...I love it! My thoughts and prayers are with all that have lost so much in recent days...so very sad!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cindy
Hi Vee!
ReplyDeleteI think it's perfect! The words are also perfect, especially for all of the disasters and trials people are going through. I am a real believer in faith. I know that we can combat our fears by strengthening our faith. Beautiful "dud"... :0)
Hugs,
Barb
Some days are just the pits :)
ReplyDeleteA DUD?...I think not, Vee. This is more than pretty...it's a deep, yet gentle prayer, put in pretty form.
ReplyDeleteI love your kind heart, Vee...it shows in almost every post you compose.xoxo
